|Amanda Fox||RE: Death Cert on Memorial 59467506|
I tried to find any information about James Black's parents but I couldn't find any further information for you. I searched for his obituary hoping there could be some information. I did find his obituary and funeral notice but there is no mention of his parents in it, just his children's information. I requested the contributor managing his memorial to add the death the notice's of his death and they are currently on his memorial.
The only thing I could think regarding the name of his mother that she could be Mary Ann or maybe Ann Mary or this could be wrong? About the birth location for her that could always be incorrect. I've found a lot of death certificates that have incorrect information from wrong birth dates, wrong birth locations or misspelled names.
I don't know if you have located his parents directly because I did find a memorial for a Thomas Black who died 03-29-1871 in Sparta, Randolph County, IL (#7976631) & Anna McMillan Black born 10-20-1820 and died 03-6-1898 (#91808229) and wondered if these are his parents?

The memorials for James and Mary mann have been transferred. I have some White family also. Mine came over from England in the late 1800's and located in Reno County, Kansas.

I have not delved into that particular tree very much, but after having my dna tested with ancestry.com the White name pops up the most often out of hundreds of distant cousins. My first White was Anna Catherine born 1835 in Roane TN and died in Dade Co. MO. 1886 married name Bridges. The earliest I have on my tree is John White 1760, Culpepper VA -1820. There many other trees that show even earlier Whites before him, but before I go there I need some evidence before I copy.

Hi Benjamin, Yes! I did received them. I am in the process of posting their names to the pictures. Was very impressed. Could you maybe post the family picture of Henry Clay Whites to his memorial on Find A Grave? Thanks, lets keep in touch, Jen

Okie dokie --- The info for parents was sent
by someone else if I remember right.
The wife on the stone of course is Minnie. I have
no info on any other wife.
The dates for his b and d are the same as
on the stone and on his death cert.
Also - his wife - Minnie's obit lists his
dod same as the stone.

Yes!! I would like to learn more about Ruby & Clyde's family. I knew Clyde had a younger brother Ernest. Have not be able to find him on Find A Grave. I have tried to post the children to Henry Clay. I have one Nuzman reunion picture in the 1980's. I think there was a White in that picture. When I return home I will check. Also looking for Wayne White Hope to hear from you, Jen

Yes a distant relative via Hollenbeck side of the family, but I have no problem transfering the memorial.

I am not related to the White's. I was familiar with some White's from growing up in the area. I entered most of the people in that cemetery just so their loved ones could find them. You are welcome.

You are very welcome. White is one of my ancestral names. So I will check back from time to time to see who you add.

Loved the story, so sad for the child. Life was very hard and there are many sad stories. I love it when I find a big family together, and can connect them with someone who will watch over them.

It was my pleasure - kind of cold, but a beautiful winter day with snow flakes all around - just the kind of peaceful walk I love after a day at the desk! Sorry I didn't get the other, but I will go back and look again!
