James McCarty and CiviL War Data
I see you have posted a comment on the memorial for James in the Flat Hollow Cemetery. He is not interred there. Please see the LeMarr Cemetery in Claiborne County where James McCarty 118949567 and wife 118949748 are interred. I believe you will want your information posted on the correct memorial. I notified the creator of the memorial in Flat Hollow several weeks ago. Changes just take time.

Benjamin L. Marshall 1839-1896
Hi Jessie,

re: Benjamin L. Marshall 1839-1896
(Union Army during the Civil War, 1st Regiment, Tennessee Cavalry, Company DKL/Company L.)

Thank you for adding my 3x Great Grandfather into the Union soldier project at the Historical
Society. It's very much appreciated.

The name 'Marshall' is correctly spelled as shown on the memorial stone, with two letter "L"s and not one.

Would you be kind enough to correct the error in spelling in your data if it's been entered with only one "L"?

If you need documentation (besides the tombstone) to verify the spelling, I'd be more than happy to provide it.

Kindest regards,

Hi, Jessica. Would you please make sure that these people are documented in your project for ETHS.

Edwin Hall is a reburial from Virginia. 98975222

Grundy Crump's stone is sinking into the ground and will not be viewable for much longer. 59900801

William Winstead has no military marker on his grave, but he is a confederate veteran. His daughter was a longtime clerk in Knox County and was caretaker of Bethel Confederate Cemetery.

William Webber does not have a military marker either. He is a Confederate Vet. 101128789

If you have any questions or need clarification, please just SAC a random memorial of mine and I will follow up with you. Thank you.
