|Marilyn Kenyon, Psy.D.||Greene Kenyon|
I removed the spouse for Greene Kenyon, as you requested, although I am unsure whether that was the correct move or not.
I got my information from the Kenyon Supplement, written by Howard N. Kenyon. It was published after his death, these were notes he had made correcting or amending information he provided in his book, American Kenyons, published in 1935. He referenced page 125 of his book:
1752 Greene Kenyon m. Nancy — ?, who later m. Joseph Webster.
17521 Roger Kenyon b. 16 Jul 1788; d. 12 Aug 1862; m. Freelove Dawley, dau. Oliver and Mercy(Sherman) Dawley.
There may have been other children. Greene's widow later married Joseph Webster. They took Roger Kenyon with them when they moved to Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania.]
You provide evidence that Joseph Webster married an Anna Kenyon in 1789. Do we know whether Anna Kenyon was Nancy Kenyon?
I don't know where Howard N. Kenyon got his information. I am only going on what he provided. It could have been incorrect. So, I have removed the link since there is some question about it. It doesn't answer the question of Roger Kenyon, who apparently went with Joseph and Nancy Webster to Pennsylvania.

More than happy to share what I know (or think I know). I also know of two other amateur genealogists that do a lot of research on the family line that you would enjoy knowing. I circle back twice to Dr. John Pyle (1723-1804) because of cousins getting married.

My e-mail address is firstname.lastname@example.org. If you can scan the photos and send them it's possible that I can help identify them, or know someone who knows who they are. My mom's cousin who grew up in Randolph County and lives in Moberly is still living (and in her 90's). I have seen many photos of the Polson family (my grandmother's maiden name was Polson).
I have also seen the "virtual pet" website and have been in touch with Gary. I was able to identify all of the people in the photos, except the guy on the horse. :-)

I loved the photo you shared of Vera. Her grandfather (Reuben R. Polson) was my great-great-grandfather's brother. I've been trying to put together the family on FindAGrave and sent a link edit to the person who created the memorial for Logan Polson requesting that he add Logan's parents to his memorial. Do you have any photos of Reuben Polson? I love trying to imagine what my GGgrandfather would have looked like. John E. Polson died around January of 1864 (likely in the Civil War) so we have no photos of him.

I have transferred her memorial to you since she is directly related to you and only indirectly to me, but we have a lot more in common. My maiden name was Brooks also and looking through your memorials i find a lot of my family names would be interested in conversing further with you and if there are others that you are more closely related related would be willing to transfer those also. Always good to find another cousin... My line is through
Marys' uncle William Noah Davenport.

NP I believe now you should have the Whitaker lineage all the way to Jonathan Find A Grave Memorial# 96453314 (1696-1786) The line has been documented back two more generations but it isn't on Find A Grave. If they find were they were buried, it will probably be close to Haverhill, Mass. were they lived.

Sure! Feel free to email me through my website. I do have to tell you that though I'm aware of the controversy of Jesse Thomas Ross Brooks and Martha Ann Brooks, all that I know of it is the little I've gleaned online (you certainly have more info than I), and I didn't pursue it as I felt that those who descended down the line would be the ones who would eventually able to sort out the situation. Though, in genealogy, eventually can mean longer than one wishes! When entering their info in my personal database, I did show them as having the same parents but I did that so it would be a kind of flag for me of questionable information that needed review. I actually haven't even done that much research on my own Brooks line other than tracing them through the census.

Hi, you were inquiring if I am related to William Henry Brooks as I left flowers. Yes. I'm a direct descendant through Matilda and John Dysart>Martha Cowden Dysart and Rev. James Bourne Mitchell>Robert Gwyn Mitchell and Lena Bell Carhart>Dorothy M. Mitchell and Albert Harry McClure (who were my grandparents).

If related it is likely quite remotely. As I wander the Web I tend to drop memorials here and there for general principles.

It is late and my mind had one of those moments. I see you manage a memorial at Mt. Vernon. i have 9 grand parents there. Susan and I put up a sign for the cemetery in 2012. I try to clean it up each year, but it seems to always get away from me. We would like to fence it, as the farmers seem to get closer and closer to the edge ever year. Well, take care. You're very welcome, Lynn! I was writing you a few details and questions last night but hit a wrong key (an unfortunate common occurrence!) and never got back to it. Mainly wanted to let you know that I have not been to that Brooks Cem so don't have pictures. That info came from the Howard Co Cem Records by Botts & Coutts.
I also was asking if you have an obit for Benjamin & Sarah (Taylor) Brooks. I know they both died in 1878 but don't know where they are buried. Her parents were buried in the Taylor-Samuel Cem, which I have been to, but nothing left except the bricks from the wall that surrounded it. The stones were removed years ago, and I probed around enough to feel pretty sure there are no more headstones there.
I also have looked and looked and looked some more for where William & Susannah Brooks may have been originally buried, but have found nothing I would feel sure about.
Anyway, have a good day!
