Hi cousin!
Hi Susan. This past weekend I have been continuing to clean out my mom's house after her death and found information about her grandmother, Amanda Jane Fulford Preachers. I found that her mother is Louisa Matilda Ducksworth Fulford. You and I have the same great-great grandmother!
I live in San Antonio, TX.

Elna Fulford Currier
The cemetery records show that Elna Fulford Currier was buried in the Pecan Cemetery with no marker at this time. However, she should be buried in Section B, Row 26, Plot L according to records handed down from the caretaker during that period. This should be six rows from the back on the North side. If you have any questions you can contact me at Martha Hancock Starnes.

I added his Death Certificate that lists place of burial as Smith Cemetery. Probably an error but I wanted to make you aware.

You are welcome. If there are other family members buried there I would list them also and also do photos.

Hi Susan,

Do you still want a copy of the old family photo taken in Clarendon, Donley Co., TX in 4 July 1916?
I am so sorry I did not get it to you for your reunion. e-mail

William Wheeler

I was reading a message that you had left on the creator of the John William Wheeler memorial. I am a direct descendant of his son William. In the message you stated that William had served in the Civil War. I was interested in who you were referring? John Wheeler supposedly died in 1846. His son William emigrated to Texas about 1839. He was too old to fight in the Civil War as he would have been about 70 when the war started. His oldest son Ransom also did not fight; however, Ransom's son Lycurgus fought in the Civil War. William's sons Alford & Preston did fight in the war.

Just curious to which William you were talking about.

Susan, I looked for this grave again a few weeks ago and was not able to locate it. I will try again before I say for sure it isn't there.

Hugh Preacher
RE: Preacher Cemetery
I have a great map of the cemetery and have talked with the landowners about doing the same, just have not gotten to it. Shoot me an email and I will send the maps etc. Oh, THIS week I got a not from the landowner and the State. Seems the road crews found a piece of a stone someone carried away and tossed into the near by stream. They are returning it to the landowner who told them I was the only Preacher he knew :)

Drop me an email

U r welcome. Ever been there? My MIL told me they used to have the Wheeler reunion up there until a while back.

I have been to the land but it is all grown up now. Someone else owns it so we can't get on the land.

Your welcome Susan, Martha is in the front row & was easy to find. The stone is very worn but I could read it. Did not show up well in the picture.
