Paul the photo for this person is already on Find A Grave granted it is not the best photo but it is listed. This picture was taken about 8 or 9 years ago.

I claimed the photo request but saw that someone local has already tried. I received the same answer on a trip yesterday concerning someone else's request. Unless the individual was an officer or died in a hospital, most of the graves are unmarked. Each stone is numbered and an additional number marks the number of bodies. I will unclaim the request.

I didn't take that photo. It was given to me by Ed Waite who took most of Beechwoods. Calhouns are my husband's direct ancestors. I know the cemetery and (someday) I'll get back up there and see if I can read it. I can't see anything from the photo.

RE: Samuel Curry
You're quite welcome. I have ancestors who were members of Hopewell and know lots of the folks there. Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

Paul I had answered your photo request. The National Park Service at the cemetery has no record on his burial at the National Cemetery. Keep in mind that 80% of those buried there are in unmarked markers. Sorry. You may want to withdraw your photo request. If you are interested in any others here feel free to count on me. Ross

RE: Edward Rodway
Here is a copy of the e-mail I sent to your regular address yesterday:

I have posted an area shot for Edward Rodway. Lot 806 in section 9 belongs to the Grupps. The only marker in this plot is for John and Marie Grupp.

The death indices lists Edward's date of death as March 25, 1913.

Also, the caption for the Grupp photo I posted contains the same information.
