RE: Nancy Louise Carter -
I took another look at her death certificate. The only clue is that she was "removed" to Asheville. The record may indicate that because her body was sent by train to Asheville to assist the family who could receive her there and take her on to their church or cemetery for burial - I don't know.I can see why you are torn about where to think she is interred - as it may be with her parents or with her husband. Her children are in different cemeteries in the area. This is a tough one and maybe the only way to settle it is to find records of those different cemeteries (if any exist) - otherwise, walk the grounds of the cemeteries and see if there are marked or unmarked graves that could be hers. If nothing else - you can memorialize her with the rationale you've given on her page - without really knowing where her remains were placed a hundred years ago. And I think that's really what it's about any way - not so much knowing exactly where the bones lie now - but remembering her and tying her to her loved ones.

RE: Marion Wyatt
Hi Valerie!
Your magic must have worked, because the incorrect memorial for Marion Wyatt is no longer in the Anders Cemetery in Barnardsville. I made him one in the correct cemetery, (which is Greenwood) so please visit that page and leave a token message or a flower.
Looks like they did not delete his memorial, they have placed it right beside mine.

Marion Wyatt
Hi Valerie,
I noticed that you placed a flower on a memorial for Marion Wyatt. He is not buried in the Anders Cemetery there, he was placed in the Greenwood Cemetery in Barnardsville. The memorial was once in the correct cemetery, but it has now been merged into this cemetery incorrectly.
I have already sent a message to this "totapaint"
person, but I am afraid that she may be inactive. Please help me move this memorial by sending edit a request to place him back in the correct cemetery in Greenwood Cemetery.

His memorial # is: 31464075

RE: Charlene Moss
Hi Valerie,

Thanks for the note on Charlene, however, I can't locate her. Will you send the memorial #. I would love to have any pictures that are for my memorials. The more info I can get the better. My family was also from the Barnardsville area. My Dad knew all the Burrells and Rays from that area. Thanks again.

Thanks for letting me know. I contacted the manager of the memorial and she is fixing her part. I moved the photo to her memorial and deleted mine. She is definitely buried in Perkins instead of Wellford. There is a street that separates the two cemeteries.
Have a wonderful day!

You're welcome.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving. We have so much to be thankful for.
I'm thankful for Jesus, HE died for my sins. I'm just a sinner saved by HIS GRACE.

Valerie - I found her buried at Landrum - I do not know if she has a stone. I added her obit and linked her to her father and Homer. I also added an obit for her Dad who also died young(32). I hope this helps you in your research.

I can add parents to children but not children to parents. You should contact the owner of the child's page to add parents or spouse.
Going to the Thompson reunion TOMORROW, Nov.9th.

RE: Thanks
Valerie, Since the kids are in school, hopefully I will have more time to do more research. I am still working on family lines that we don't have in common but, the Burrell/Tesneer line is one that I plan on doing a lot more research on. If I find anything interesting I will let you know. Susan

RE: Burrell line
No, I am not related to the Burrells. I have been to Cannon Memorial Park many times looking for photos requests. It is a very easy cemetery to walk in just a couple of hours. Thanks again and have a great day!

RE: Stephanie Frasure Smith :Photo request
I found out today that Cannon Memorial Funeral Home has a funeral home in Simpsonville but the cemetery is in Fountain Inn. I was going to try and get down there and see if I could find the headstone but the weather here has been nothing but rain, rain, rain.

Hope you find the grave.
