Elizabeth Elledge
John, I saw the picture you took of Isaac Elledge's stone in Elledge-Holley cemetery. I have a similar picture of that stone taken about 30 years ago. Just to the right of it was a smaller stone, largely illegible, which seems to say Elizabeth Elledge. That stone is not in your picture. Any idea where it is? What might have happened to it? I believe it is Isaac's mother who died 1861, but someone has stated on Findaagrave that the Elizabeth Elledge who died that date is a much younger person -- but no info provided.
Can you help?

Many thanks,

Lucretia's parents
Great job researching the names of Lucretia Boyles' birth parents! Following the clues of the names on her marriage bond makes good sense - amazing no one thought to do that before - or if they did, to share the information. She wasn't an unknown orphan after all!

RE: Roy O'Hair Earlha Cemetery
I wonder shy the stone is missing? That is odd being a military stone and all

Roy O'Hair Earlha Cemetery
I searched for Roy O'Hair today at Earlham cemetery. I came across a Helen O'Hair in the section where Roy should have been in and there was an empty space next to Helen, was she possibly related to him that he is there with no stone? I took a photo of the empty space with Helen's stone in the photo if you would like me to add that photo just let me know.

Hi John,

Thanks for responding.

It is not so much the difference between say 1830 to 1833, but the difference between 1830 and 1852 that I am concerned with. I'll look through all this again and let you know which ones I think are in the later category.

Also if the marriage was in Sept 1830, then we hope that the first child wasn't born until late 1831 or 1832.

John, I was in the Swango Cemetery looking for James Sylvester O'Hair and I took a couple of extra pictures. When I got home I saw that there was no picture on her memorial, so I added it. I was contacted by another member asking the same thing. I told her I will try to get back to the cemetery and see if there is any information on the marker.

RE: Eleanor O'Hair Photo
You are more than welcome. I have wanted to visit this cemetery before and did not have the time. I had my father-in-law come with to show me where it was. I did have to walk through a farmers field and up a hill for this one. I always find these old family cemeteries interesting.

RE: O'Hair changes, corrections

i usually try and make any changes or additions when I get the request. I even type long obituaties etc. One of our daughters recently had a miscariage and we went that direction. Another direction for grqndchildren in programs, and two other ways in dividing ourselves amonst our 10 grandchildren. Our youngest daughter nd her family are moving 14 hrs away. Have gone to help them get their house ready to sell, and it sold in one week. Going to help them watch kids while moving van loads their stuff. Bottom line, I have met myself coming nd going all fall and still going. I must haqve been in a hurry and accidentally didn't click on something, or accidentally deleted the mesage, thinking I haqd aslreaqdy done it. Anyhow, please send me the info again, and I will get it on findagrve for you. Or if you would like to give me your contributor number, I would gladly transfer this kinfolk of yours over to you. Whatever you would like. Again, sorry I have made a mistake and didn't get it on by now.

# 2863104 Albert Hy. Mascher
Dear John E. Reckel,
Do I understand correctly? You are saying that Albert Henry Mascher is the son of Frederick Mascher
Birth: 1844
Jackson County
Indiana, USA
Death: Jan. 19, 1903
Grant County
Indiana, USA

I am wondering which document you found that proves his father is Frederick Mascher.

Albert married into my family of Ebelings and his obituary, Baptism, Confirmation records show his parents are:
Charles and Mary (Tolch) Mascher, and Albert was born in Jasper County, IL on Dec 10, 1880.

RE: Rats! Addendum
You are funny, I will be more than welcomed to go look to see if I see anything. If there is one, I will get a copy to ya. As for the other memorials, can you just request to have them transferred to you? Just wondering and yes sometimes it is hard to get someone else to answer back. (If there are other family members that you need obituaries for in this area, do not hesitate to email me and I will go search for them. Have a good day.
Tammie Lou

RE: Rats! Addendum
On Lillie, do you need me to look up an obituary for her as well? I could try to do it Monday or Tuesday. Please let me know. Thank you,
Tammie Lou

RE: Rats! Addendum
No problem will add them to her memorial. That is okay about the photos, I like to make sure I take everything and if there is another person on the headstone I like to get that as well. The dark spot is not a flaw on the headstone, it was a block of ice I had to get off it, so it was a little darker then the rest. Sorry. Oh if you are the one managing the memorial you can go in and rearrange the photos so that of Albert will be the first in the line. Thank you,
Tammie Lou

RE: Rats! Addendum
If you click on see rest of images you will see all the images I took for the grave. I have one of Albert, one of Lillie and one of the whole headstone. Thank you,
Tammie Lou
