Kathy, I think we have corrected the errors and Marty is going to transfer picture. However, I have transferred the memorial to you for safekeeping by her friend, as it should be! Thanks for getting this to us.

With the technology available today one certainly has the ability to alter and change any picture they come across on Findagrave. However, even though you might think the altered finished product is better than what was originally submitted, one has to assume that what has been contributed to Findagrave is satisfactory to the original submitter. Unless you have express permission to do so, do not in any way alter existing photos of any kind and resubmit them onto the website. Doing so is expressly prohibited. [Top]
Just curious why did you re post over mine with out informing me?

Real metal tinsel and popcorn garland on the Christmas tree! Those were the days, except those C7 Christmas lights that would all go out when one bulb burned out.

|Leo Murphy||Danny Murphy|
I was searching on line for information on Danny and found your entry in this site. I have been a member here for a while.
Danny was my cousin. Your (married) last name is very familiar, I have been hearing it all my life when visting my E. Springfield relatives.
Thank you for posting the information, I did not have his birthdate and remembered the year he died but not the exact date despite remembering the details very well. The accident was about a mile from my home in Little Falls.
My questions his mother's maiden name and information about his wife and son. I have it as Carson in our family tree but do not have any actual records to prove that is correct. Are you certain of your spelling or is that possibly not correct? I did not even know Danny had been married until I saw your entry. Do you have any further information about his wife and son?

I wish there would be something I could do.
Please hold on to your memorials in a couple of months you might feel different and there is no rush in doing any corrections at the moment.
Thinking about you a lot Love Ingrid.

|wienerin||Henry Damon Eckler|
This is a long story:
I had Henry's gravestone photo for just about a year and could not find out who he was. Then Find A Grave member PAUL put in quite a few photo requests in Springfield, we had an issue with Edy Ann Krum Eckler.... anyway he mentioned to me to A. Ross Eckler and his 1970 book about the Eckler's so I went ahead and asked him about Henry buried next to Isaiah and he told me the rest.
If you read through the last couple of days of my messages you can see our communication.
Also a little more info I found on Ancestry.com if you have access to it look for the family tree Et Cetera - Eckler, Baber, etc owner is jensencje.
There is a great story about Henry Damon and Georgianna. It is under copyright, otherwise I would copy it for you. I did send the owner of the tree a message if I could use the story on Henry's memorial on Find A Grave. When I get a response I will let you know.
Also in that story it is mentioned that Henry Damon Eckler's grave is marked only by the stone "Henry" and it is on the left of his son Isaiah's headstone and that it had been verified by cemetery officials that this was the grave of Henry Damon Eckler.
I hope this explains a bit, it was a very exciting day for me now more so as I can give his memorial into family hands
Greeting from Richfield Springs Ingrid.

Have added the info for Edward Morton that you suggested. Thanks! Are his parents the James and Margaret buried at the Baptist Church Cemetery in Middlefield?
Is he a relative, would you like a transfer?

Somehow I think I got her confused with Maude Fairchild 94646215. I deleted the incorrect duplicate.
I am related to the Van Alstynes of Kinderhook and also the Dueslers of Ephratah. I would be interested to know if and how you are related to those families.
Thanks so much,

|Beautiful Savior Is My Lord Jesus Christ||Hi Kathy,|
I transferred the Van Alstyne memorial to you. I know there is two different spellings for the name. I added it to Find A Grave the way it was in the Fort Plain cemetery book. Thanks for making corrections.

I have been working on the transfers. Sorry it has taken me so long, I am behind in my emails. If the people in the memorials aren't close relatives I can add the links if you send them to me.

Please link Minnie to her father, Emerson Galyer, in Middlefield Baptist Cemetery #62360933. I do not know where her mother is buried. Minnie was my grandmother's cousin. I remember going to visit her in Johnstown with my grandmother and aunts. She had only one child. If you are not related you could transfer this entry to me (47153230)

|DBT||Re: Martha Abel Fox, FAG#80852116|
Thank you for the obit. I cannot tell you how many times the obit says they are to be buried in ... and it turns out that they are buried someplace else. I have a great uncle that was per his obit buried in ... and actually was buried someplace else. I think alot of the time "the family" is buried in ... so therefore the deceased will be buried there" then the spouse would prefer they are buried closer to their residence.
If we all gather bits and pieces of information we will be able to reconstruct the lives of people who have gone before us.
