Sallie Green of Cocke County
I saw your memorial on Findagrave to William Pleasant and Sallie Green O'Neil and was wondering if you are kin to them. Sallie is a sister to my great grandmother, Nancy Belle Green Holt Mode. I would like to share my material if you are.

Hi Chandra, here's the gentleman who I told you about earlier who is the best resource on the Cauthens or anyone else buried in Taylor Town Cemetery in White Bluff, TN: Bobby Joe "B.J." Hall
655 Stacey Road
White Bluff, TN 37187

Also, did that e-mail come through okay to your personal e-mail with the updates for your Shelton family members?

Happy hunting,

Pleasant O'Neil
Chandra - I checked Clay Creek Church for this grave. There are MANY stones that are simply unreadable. Sorry, but I couldn't locate anything for Pleasant (but I do love that name!).

RE: Thank you!
Hi Chandra, your Shelton family tree is certainly an challenging one in many ways as the family members seem to be buried in various cemeteries. I went ahead and uploaded the Annie Taylor headstone that lies next to your S.P. Jones. I found it interesting that they had matching headstones! After reading through your message I realized that I have read of your elusive Missouri Shelton, in another posting. I will continue looking for her while in my photography travels through the local cemeteries. And if you are interested more in the individuals at rest in the Taylor Town Cemetery, I met the gentleman who maintains the platte for all burials and knows the history and family trees for almost everyone buried there as he is a direct descendant of the Cauthen family noted in the area. Let me know and I can shoot you his name and address and such, he's a wealth of information. Until later, Helen

Good to see you on here dear Niece
I didn't know you were on here. I was looking for Grandma Rose and Grandpa Everett Carter's graves. I was also looking for Earl and Daphne O'Neil's as I heard they were buried at Bougard too, but could not find them. Do you know where theirs are?

RE: Thank You
Sorry I couldn't find what you were looking for. And it could be that one of the unmarked stones is his. There is just no way of knowing.
