RE: Find A Grave Memorial# 135988295
You are asking ~ ~

"I was hoping that you would also address the why you have Mary Davis, my Great Great Grandmother listed in the memorial with her daughter in law? Also do you also take photo's of headstones. I have been trying to find were James Markham and Annie Bush Barker are buried. Do you know if Johnny Desha and Bessie Barker Horn are buried?"

I have Mary Davis included in her daughter-in-law's memorial, because that's what I do when I have the information: I include the names of the parents of the spouse.

I take SOME photos in the high desert of San Bernardino County, California, which is where I live, and once in a great while, when I visit my daughter in Nashville, Tennessee, I go to selected cemeteries and take photos.

And, I am not aware of whether or not Johnny Desha and Bessie Barker Horn are buried.

No, they aren't my relatives, as far as I know. In fact, most of the memorials that I've set up in both Montgomery and Davidson counties and the surrounding areas are not related to me: I'm just creating the memorials because I've been able to find info online.

I have contacted Findagrave about your duplicates.

Don't worry about it. Seceder Cemetery and Portland Mills are adjacent cemeteries and the memorials in the 2 are totally mixed up so much that I believe someone needs to ask findagrave to combine them into one listing. That is why there are so many duplicates.

The ingraving is not very deep and the color makes it difficult to photograph, but I don't think it is worn down.

Hi Karen,

Thank you so much for your time and effort. I will have to do some more research on James. He is the second husband of my great aunt so I'm not sure where or if he is interned. Thanks again for your help.

RE: Edwina Viola Blazer Wright
Thanks for looking for Edwina again. It would be nice if there is no stone to do the same as you did on Lydia M. Wright's memorial.

Edwina Viola Blazer Wright
Thanks for finding Edwina's burial location. Sorry to hear she also has no stone. She is suppose to be next to her husband Benjamin. I will need to check with the cemetery to find out who Eugene Wright is, that you say his headstone is at her left side. I think that would mean she is buried between Benjamin and Eugene. Do you remember seeing Benjamin?

Lydia M. Wright

I really like the photo you posted to both Lydia and her husband Elmer's memorial.
Your idea of placing the red flag to mark the spot of Lydia's burial place where there is no headstone was a great idea.
Thank you so much for your thoughtfulness.

RE: Lydia M. Wright
A headstone photo is posted to her husband Elmer Lorenzo Wright member #21452171. Yes, I would like to see the photo you took. I agree with you about the sadness of not having a burial marker.

Lydia M. Wright
Hi Karen
Thank you for finding her grave site which is beside the headstone of her husband Elmer L. Wright. Sorry to hear there was no stone place for her. I have noted on her memorial "There is no headstone" so there will be no other photo requests submitted.
Thanks again,

Thank you for the opportunity. They put American Flags on all the graves today. It was such an amazing and beautiful sight. Glad I got to see it. Ellen

barker links

See the "LINK" button at the top of a memorial page. When it is clicked a screen will appear that you as manager of that memorial can enter the memorial # of the persons to be linked. To be linked a person must have a Find-A-Grave memorial page and #. It can be in any cemetery, any where. You may link spouses, or children to parents on the provide screen and only in that manner.

I will transfer Virgina to you by selecting edit on her memorial page and then select transfer on the next screen, and then add your Find-A-Grave ID # and enter. It will then be yours and you will see your name at the bottom of her page as the person managing that memorial.

Good luck and best wishes in your work.

Merrill D Barker & Wilma K Barker
Hi, Just sent and added your photos. They need to be placed in correct order. Possibly separate memorial for Wilma K.
Also name of cemetery is Tahoma National Cemetery in Covington, WA.
Let me know if I can help further.

Added by Harold Nielson on Mar 07, 2013 9:11 PM

I have sent requests to remove the original memorial on James and retain yours. I also asked to have Virginia's transfered to me. I could then make the link between the two and transfer Virginia over to you if you wished. Responses are sometimes slow, so watch for the events to take place and then remind me of your wishes on the transfer.
