Heading south for the winter, but know if you get burial locations, someone will take photos for you once the rain stops.

No problem, it takes awhile to figure out all the bells and whistles and from time to time they add new ones. Thanks for fixing it. I'll put in a new request for the gravestone photo. Marji

Hi Lindsey,
I appreciate the photo but it evidently went on as the tombstone photo request I made and now the index shows it has a tombstone photo when it doesn't. When an individual photo is posted it needs to be changed from gravestone to individual. If you would take it off and then put it back on again changing the gravestone photo option to individual I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks!
Marji

Lindsey,

Get the burial location and I'll go out this weekend to photo the headstone, if he has one. When I call to get locations, I've learned to ask if there is a headstone.

George Hobbs & Amanda and others are in Huntsville City Cemetery. His # is 96401251. I have photographed all of Huntsville, too, so if you find anymore there, I'll be glad to transfer. This makes me wonder if they really were buried in the Burckhartt Cemetery and their stones moved to the city cem. Their stone definitely could be described as tall! I have found the name spelled Burckhartt, Burkhart, Burckhardt, Burkhardt, etc, and I have tried to enter them under the spelling on the stone, so you might try to look for all spellings.
I've been told that the George Hobbs Burckhartt house stood for a long time up on what is now known as Holman Heights. Would love to see a picture of it!

Hi Linsey,
Just added photos and transferred the Lyons to you. If there are more you are related to, even outside the Findagrave guidelines, don't hesitate to ask!
I have been to the Burckhartt Cemetery near Huntsville, but found only 8 stones though I'm sure there are many more. The ones I found are on Findagrave under the Burckhartt Cemetery. What family do you have there? I'd love to know who else is there. Did you grandpa ever describe the cemetery much? Like if there were very many stones?
Thanks,
Nancy

RE: Lyon's graves in Higbee
Hi Lindsey,
I'll be happy to transfer them, but please go through the Edit/ Suggestion tab on each memorial. Doing that will send me an email with a link to the memorial as well as your contributor number. In the suggestion/correction box, just put transfer.
Thanks,
Nancy

Krol's of Calvary in Lorain County, OH
Hi Lindsey,

I'm a photo volunteer for Find A Grave. If you will call Calvary (440-233-5117) and ask for the burial locations for your 3 Krol requests and let me know where, I'll be more than happy to photo the headstones, if they have headstones. Also, the office might be able to give you more complete dates.

Normally the volunteers call the cemetery office for locations, but because I've called so many times, I was told that they would start charging me for burial locations. Unfortunately, I'm not the only volunteer in this area to be told the same thing.
