I believe memorials should be managed by relatives and friends. I no longer live in GA. I am so happy the memorials I created are in good hands.

|Nancy Towns||Wife of Peter Melton Towns|
Thank you for finding my error in the numbering for the wife of Peter Melton Towns. There must have been some kind of glitch when I entered the data because #69765127 does not even resemble the correct #46278776 and I always double-check my entries. Anyway - now it's corrected - so thank you for calling it to my attention.
I also added the names of 6 of their children that I know. I noticed in the wonderful photo that you posted that there were possibly 8 children. This family is not in my husband's direct line. Maybe someone who knows of this family can add to the list.

Yes, that's right. I forgot that they were first-cousins. Quite common back then.
No, I don't have a picture of Wadie Maurine. Their granddaughter, Elaine Beasley West, had given me some information, as well as pictures. You might contact her at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Hope your dad is well. I've so enjoyed the amazing book he sent me, "Granny Bess." Your dad is a remarkable man.

|Bonnie Sisson Manning||Sarah & Jonathan Carr - Church of the Redeemer|
The official name of the Episcopal Church in Oak Ridge is Church of the Redeemer. I'll transfer those memorials to you and you can decide which one to keep
There are two major cemeteries within the town of Oak Ridge, Church of the Redeemer and Oak Ridge Baptist. Someone else started a Find A Grave cemetery simply known as Oak Ridge Cemetery. That caused a bit of confusion, also.
Take care and happy hunting.

First, let me express my sympathy to you on the loss of your son. I, too, have lost my son, though at a greater age.
Thank you for noticing the connection between Nannie Nichols and her parents, J. Alexander Johnson and Margaret Pugh Johnson. I have made the links on this site and am happy to do so. At one time, I knew that Nan's parents were buried in the Govans cemetery, but I forgot. I am very curious to know how you knew to look for Nan!

|Digger||RE: McCorkle graves in Crowley|
I'm so sorry -- I apologize. I seem not to have the photo. I had a long list of photos to take of my own family in the two main Crowley cemeteries, and since I was going to be there I had added the five requests you had made on FindAGrave. When I took the photos of the McCorkles I even wrote down the name and dates from the stone for "Buddie" and put a check in the "photo taken" column on my list. But I apparently did not actually take the photo. (Oy, I'm losing it.) If you post a photo request for him and no one else gets to it before I'm down there again in a few months, I'll certainly take it then.

|Digger||McCorkle graves in Crowley|
I was in Crowley last week (where three generations of my family are buried) and took the photos of your McCorkle relatives as well. I just wanted you to know that there was an additional McCorkle in the same group with John, Virginia, etc -- William Butler McCorkle 1849-1926. I took photos of that grave as well, so if you want them and create a memorial for him, let me know and I'll upload them.
Regards to a fellow family hunter -
Robert Hill ("Digger")

|Kalinta||RE: Crews/Askews Dayton|
David M. Prowell lived in a house called Magnolia Grove, (similar to more familiar one in Greensboro), next to Prowell land which was where my GrGrandmother's Minnie (his sister)(Mildred E. Prowell m. Lee Askew.) lived. The pastures connected I believe. His wife Mattie Gilbert was friends with Clara Crews and my Grandmother Kathleen Askew. They were cousins if I have it right. Thanks for the photos. I visited Dayton in April this year 2013 and took pics of the cemetery. The stones are almost unreadable and my pics not go good. Thanks for you input and photos.
