RE: Black
Thank you so much for the transfer Peg. I'm excited to learn of another cousin. So your daughter-in-law is also a descendant of Lt. James and Hannah (Loomis) Wells, a most interesting family to study. When I get my "chores" finished today, I'll try to get Alice's memorial updated to include her parents etc.

Thank you Peg. There is no rush. We still have snow on the ground here in the Midwest too. It's been a very long winter. Thanks,

Ms Peggy

A ways back, you took a photo of the gravestone of Samuel Sturdevant at Black Walnut (AKA Sturdevant) Cemetery.

It is a very nice photo, much better than others we had of record.

Your time, skills, and effort are all greatly appreciated.

Sincerely
Connie Fyfe

Rapalje/Trico ancestors
I have not been to the Old Dutch Cemetery in NY, but I live in Florida....would love to see it and the Green-Wood cemetery in Brooklyn. Some of their descendants are there too. Look up Green-Wood if you love cemeteries (like me!!).

Joris Rapalje and Catalina Trico
I see on FindAGrave that you are a descendant of Joris and Catalina Rapalje. You may enjoy the book "Island in the Center of the World " by Russell Shorto. Story of the founding on Manhattan by the Dutch and the Rapaljes are part of the book. We are over One million descendants!

Scott Teeters
RE: Hello Scott
Hello Peg,

No problem there. When I was working on my computer earlier today, I had claimed all the Freeman's that were requested thinking I had them and then realized that I had missed two. (Abraham being one of them) Then I "unclaimed" them as soon as I realized my mistake.

I didn't see Abraham when I was over there today, but you must have found him as I saw the picture on his page. As you know from walking in Fairview, there are a lot of stones in that back section that are virtually unreadable and some that have almost disappeared.

Nice to know I have a kindred spirit on the road here!

Best regards,
Scott
