Rehe, St. Mary Cemetery Ohio
Good Evening,

I saw your request for Rehe at St Mary Cemetery and that it did not have a location. I stopped by the local library and have images of the cemetery cards for St Mary for the Rehe. If you would like them, please email me at and I will send them on.

Joseph's location:

Sorry, I have no other information on him. I just took those memorials over to help out a lady that didn't want to do it any more.

RE: Orpheus King
It may be one of the stones that isn't very readable. Such is the case all to often with burials pre-1900.

RE: Frank Roby
I do not know who his parents were. The obituary never mentions them by name and I have no personal knowledge of this person. Sorry!

I am researching the King name. Do you know of Stephen King 1776-1866, his wife's name or Orpheus King 1803-1892 who married Lydia Winchell? I'm also looking for the children of Albert Young King 1845-1933, especially Anna Blanche King Vernoy 1876-1945 and her siblings. Thank you.

I would have no idea. Maybe Janet Johanson (#47404341) would.

RE: Staley's
You are welcome. If you need something related to Lyon County, KS. email or message me and I'll try to check it out. For what is worth, I noticed a large group of headstones with the name "Staley" last night in a cemetery (Memorial Lawn)near my home in Emporia. So, if you find a connection you need a photo on, let me know.

RE: Edwin Staley
Yes there is one large monument which has Edwin Staley on one side and Sarah F. Staley on another side.

Sarah F Staley, Born Dec. 15, 1844 Died Feb 23,1925.

There is also on the monument the names of Ida Staley, born Jan 12, 1875 Died Apr 6 1880 and George W Staley, born 11-22-1868 died Aug 3, 1870.

I have a photo of the third side of the children but the death date is cut off for Ida.

If you enter the information for Sarah F. Staley and the children if you wish, I'll post the photos or I can email them to you.

It will be awhile before I can get back out there for a god photo for Ida.

RE: David King, Sr
No I don't. Perhaps you could look up his Will if he had one here

Try the wills index for the year that he died (filed on).

Try too.

Blytha & Donald Ellis
Albert Y. King's parents
You asked who Albert Y. King's parents were. Albert's death certificate says they were O. King and Lida Winsell, both natives of New York. Upon further investigation, I found that their names were Orpheus King and Lydia Winchell. They were married in 1828 in Cayuga County, NY. In the 1860 census, they were living in Tama County, Iowa. O. King was 57, L. King was 49 and they had 6 children in the home, one of whom was A. King age 15, which I believe was Albert Y. King. They actually had a total of 12 known children. In 1870, they were in Marshall County, Iowa. Orpheus King is buried in Dallas County, Iowa, Memorial 120200224. He is not linked to his wife, so I don't know where she is buried.

Eva Bywayer
Hi. I was notified by the family counselor, he stated there is no Eva Bywater at Montecito, he did say this: I looked in the book from the 1930's - today and the only other Bywater that I found was Bonnie Bywater who passed in 1959, so is say she isn't there. If this Bywater is related to you. He gave me a location, let me know.....Bobby

Frederick William Chandler
I went to the Maple Grove Cemetery to search for Frederick William Chandler. I talked to a man in the office and Frederick was not listed as having a marker. His interred date is November 19, 1941. I went ahead and checked the grave number (grave 8) and there is no marker.

There is also a Donald Warren Chandler buried in the grave beside him, also no marker (grave 7). His interred date was listed as December 3rd 1936.

Sorry I wasn't able to fulfill your request. Hope the information I have sent is somewhat helpful.

RE: Evelyn Peterson
I'm sorry I created confusion for you. I didn't think about the message going to you. I wanted it to go to the person who would be photographing the stone and they would be able to find it easily.
