You are very welcome. It was my pleasure. Good luck with your tree. I've worked on mine with one of my sisters for years and it's so interesting! You never know what you'll find!

I do believe that Justice and Judd are the same person. They both have birthdate of 1884 and death date of 1947. I just believe he must have preferred his middle name. Barb

Holy Cross Cemetery Photo Requests
Please call the cemetery office and ask for the grave location. Photo requests cannot be fulfilled without Section, Range/Row and Lot numbers as cemetery is too big. Thank you!

RE: Thanks!
You're welcome, David. I went ahead and created a memorial for Nellie and added photos. It was only an afterthought that I took a photo of her headstone. I did not know, of course, that she was related. I need to make sure I understand your message correctly. Was Nellie the daughter of Ida, or of the second wife? I don't want to link her to the wrong mother.

Best regards,
B.J.

William Lunceford
Hello! I am about to fulfill your photo request but unfortunately, it is a photo of the area, only. The office confirmed there is no headstone. Mabel is not buried with him, but there is an Ida Lunceford buried in the same plot. She also does not have a headstone.

I am sorry this was not a more positive outcome. I am always disappointed when I don't find a marker.

Best regards,
B.J.

Hello,
I was looking for my former piano teacher. I am not sure of her last name since she remarried. I am actually not sure if she is living or not. :)

Greenlawn Memorial
There is a Ruth S. Hilker, 1916-1967 just to the right of Roy Stevenson. Could this have been his wife and she remarried? I did add a memorial and photo. Barb

Thank you for the info. I go into Fort Wayne, usually on Wednesday, and I will get the photo then. I will also get Ruth if she is with him. Have a great weekend. Barb

Do you happen to know what block he is buried in at Greenlawn? They cite the "Privacy Act" and will not tell me but they would tell you. Let me know and I will try to take a photo for you. Thanks. Barb

RE: Thanks! And a question
I found a large newer stone with Welch on it but no names or dates on it. I believe that is the only Welch I found. I was thinking about another cementery when I said that I took pictures of the whole cementery. I am going back to Matteson very soon. There were several that I did not find the day I was there. I will search harder for the ones that you have requested.

RE: Thanks! And a question
do you have the years of their birth and death. It is the strangest thing. I was in another cementery and found Alig G Richardson 1852-1911 and Angeline Richardson 1815-1904.It is Curtis Cementery in Bronson Michigan. Not too far from the Matteson Cementery.

RE: Dusenbery Pics
You're welcome! Kind of a mystery whether the photos we took for 276 Range-3 might be Cornelia and John's or if their stone are just missing completely. (Unfortunately, for those graves, there are no plot records online so we can't find out exactly how the plot was laid out.)
