RE: Picture for grave marker for John William Strickland
The only thing I have that list John William Strickland in the Lexington Memorial Cemetery was from Ancestry.com

U.S. Veterans Gravesites, ca.1775-2006
about John William Strickland
Name:John William Strickland
Service Info.:A1C US AIR FORCE KOREA
Birth Date:16 Mar 1930
Death Date:22 Oct 2003
Cemetery:Lexington Memorial Cemetery
Cemetery Address:C/O Caughman-Harman Fnl Home 503 N Lake Drive Lexington, SC 29072

I only have his wife's obituary which unfortunately does not give a burial place for her.

I wish I could give you more info, but I greatly appreciate your help.

RE: Ludwig George
Hi Margaret,
Thanks for your help. I live in Florida. The large majority of my ancestors are from South Carolina. There is a cemetery near Chapin known as the Cumalander cemetery. Henry Cumalander was the man Ludwig bought the property from and it was know as the Cumalander land. There are George graves in this cemetery but Ludwig is not listed. The cemetery is feet away from the overpass of the interstate which makes we think maybe his grave was moved or destroyed. But, there could be another cemetery out there I haven't found.
I would greatly appreciate any info you can find.

Have a good trip.
Janet

Dear Margaret,
Thank you so much for providing the photograph of the grave marker for Ludwig George. I am unclear if he is actually buried there. There is a family plot near Chapin which is feet away from the interstate overpass and I wonder if his grave was moved or destroyed. Do you happen to know who keeps the records for Lexington Memoral Cemetery?

RE: Zinker Relatives
I'm not related to any Zinkers that I'm aware of. There are none listed in the Rock Hill Phone book. I have a few people who might know a little about them. I've contacted them and told them what I could about the Zinkers. When I hear back from them, I'll send you any info that I obtain. Good luck and God bless.

RE: Zinker Relatives
I'm sorry but we don't know any Zinker's. We wish you luck in your search. Are they from around York County, SC?
