Where in KY are you?? We just got back from traveling south. Went down through Louisville to Nashville...when we came home, it was up through Chattanooga through Lexington north. KY rocks! I am INCREDIBLY impressed with Lexington, especially. Going through cities we aren't familiar with, we always end up in some "ghetto", but I couldn't find a ghetto in Lexington for my life!! LOL! What a great city!

I can totally relate to that COMPLETELY. Does it get better? It does, but it doesn't. There is always something "new" that pops up that reminds me of my own grandmother/grandparents/time spent with them that triggers things. For instance, seeing something in an antique store that they had..be it dishes, some knick knack, etc.... BAM. It comes back. It's not always bad, but it can trigger emotions for sure. I can only imagine what it will be like when/if my mother dies before me. UGH. Hang in there!! --Carrie

Oh yes.....I am still the same way with my grandma. And you know what's strange is that even though she was 89 and these things are expected, it doesn't make it any easier. AT ALL. It's one of the WORST things I've ever experienced yet one of the most amazing experiences (I was there with her) I've ever had. EVER. I can't explain this at all.
Doesn't take much at all to bring tears. I can see something in an antique store she had an I'm in tears. It's CRAZY!
It's a slow road...hang in there.
