Andrew R. Anderson
Hello, Brenda,
Nice to hear from you. To answer your questions: No, I'm not related to the Andersons, and I did make Andrew's memorial just for his family's sake. MANY folks, particularly babies, do not have any sort of stone or marker in Park Cemetery (folks were poor); but I wanted their names to be included in FindaGrave, so I used their death certificates. As far as I can see, there was no marker for Andrew. There is no baby section in the cemetery, and none of the other photographers have come across it.

I can believe that Andrew is your relative because the death date and place you have matches his death certificate. I'm just surprised that his birth date doesn't. It could however have been a problem of someone not understanding his parents' Swedish accents. Andrew's death certificate is available online at If you go to the website, click on "Advanced Search," and you'll see their list of databases. Just use their "Death Records, 1897-1920" with information about Andrew, and you'll find it. And if you have other relatives who lived in Michigan, the website might really be useful to you. Just a warning--you may have to search different ways to find a name because of bad handwriting and/or bad transcription.

I'll be happy to transfer Andrew's memorial to you. If there are any other memorials I have that you want, just let me know.

Margaret Bull birth place
Hi Brenda,
Thanks for sending Margaret's birth place.
However, findagrave doesn't list Halsebo, Gardserum, Sweden as an option.

Drakulich headstones
I just posted 2 photos of Joe and Julia's headstone with children listed. I found other Drakulichs in Ely cemetery in addition to the large headstone. I will post after I get all my claims done.
Do you know the history of that large headstone? It's beautiful.

Alane Beck
Muehlen Photo
You're welcome. I had planned to get a picture of Angnes Hawkes and Walter Mortensen but it was too dark and the snow was covering some of the graves. I'll get them another day and maybe a better picture of Anges Muehlen.
