RE: Mary Delahanty Freeman
Dear Estella: I've added the info you sent me to Mary Delahanty's Find-A-Grave memorial. Her husband's memorial is managed by Cheryl Locher Moonen, F.A.G. # 103773592. If there is any thing you'd like to add to John's memorial, send a message to her.

RE: Mary Anna Freeman
That is very easy to do. I just did it. Anything else, just let me know.

RE: Mary Freeman
I've added the obituary. I try to give credit to the newspaper in which it appeared, along with the date of publication - - please tell me this info if you have it.

RE: Mary Freeman
That really is a shame about the cemetery in Dubuque being destroyed ! Re: the 3 Freeman's in the St. Mary's Cemetery near Blue Springs, Nebr.: Please take one more look at their memorials on Findagrave & see if that suits you. Do you have an obituary for Mary Anna Freeman (1828 - 1910)? Where can I get a copy? If I had a copy, I would enter it for her biography on her Findagrave memorial.

RE: Mary Freeman
Do you know the cemetery in which John Freeman (Mary Anna Freeman's husband) is buried? Findagrave has a proceedural rule that you must know the cemetery and the person to be memorialized must be entered into the Findagrave website, before this person can be "linked" to another person on Findagrave. I got around that by putting her husband in her biography notes. I noticed TLC added biography notes to Father James Freeman's memorial, too. If you want him "linked" to his mother, Mary Anna, TLC can be asked to do this. You're doing GREAT, Estella! Your help is essential for us volunteers to get the information just right. Let me know the name of the cemetery in Dubuque where husband John is buried. If he's not listed on Findagrave as buried there, I'd be happy to create a memorial for him. Or, you can create one for him. All's you have to do is register on Findagrave as a volunteer. It's free. Then, you can create memorials, too.

RE: Mary Freeman
Now you're talkin' ! I understood perfectly what you want me to do - - - and I did it! Sure do appreciate another set of eyes looking at the work, because it makes it much more accurate.

As for Father James C. Freeman, buried in Calvary Cemetery [the husband of Mary Anna Freeman] - - - Father Ferdinand Boehme of St. Mary's Church in Wymore, told me the following in a letter, regarding the St. Mary's Cemetery, last burial 1918: "There is no map available for this cemetery. Regarding cemetery headstones - To my knowledge, the headstones were damaged by cattle many years ago. When Father Hotovy came, he had the Kights of Columbus install the fence, which was approximately 28 years ago. I was told that the families who could afford it, had some of their loved ones transferred to another cemetery." I would suggest writing or calling Father Ferdinand Boehme or one of his staff and ask if James C. Freeman was first buried in the St. Mary's Cemetery near Blue Springs, Nebr., then MOVED to the Calvary Cemetery in Wymore? If he answers 'Yes', then perhaps the church records will say who the family was that paid to have this person re-buried in the Calvary Cemetery. This would tell you the names of some family members to contact, if you needed or wanted any more information.

If you want the middle initial "C." added to James Freeman's findagrave memorial - - the current 'manager' of this memorial could do this for you. This person is TLC, #59247378. You can contact her at the bottom of James Freeman's findagrave memorial by clicking on the TLC.

When you say you got them on as 'public' but you did not want that - - is this another website like or or ? I bet the website will change that for you. You just have to contact the website and get to the right person and ask them to make the correction. I would guess it can be done.

If you look at Mary Anna Freeman, John Freeman and Anna Freeman on NOW - - you will see the corrections I have made. Please tell me anything else I can do to make their memorials as accurate as possible. Henry6716

RE: mary Freeman
Regarding James Freeman: this findagrave memorial is "managed" by TLC, #46919197. I would suggest you contact this volunteer to see if she can help you with your questions. If you go to James Freeman's memorial on findagrave, TLC will be listed at the bottom of the memorial. Click on the TLC and it will take you to her page and you should be able to contact her from there. Sorry, I can't be of more help. Henry6716

RE: Mary Freeman
I received two messages from you and I'm don't know what you are requesting that I do......Mary Freeman is not a findagrave memorial that I "manage". For Anna Freeman (born abt. 1870, died Aug. 10, 1910); John Freeman (born Oct. 18, 1849, died Jan. 8, 1898; and Anna Freeman (born Sept. 1928, died Oct. 19,1910): I do manage these three findagrave memorials. I added these three because I received a list of the people buried in the St. Mary's Cemetery, (no longer an active cemetery) 1 mile north of Blue Springs, Nebraska. The current priest assigned to the St. Mary's Catholic Church (still an active church) provided the list of those buried there. (His name is Father Fredinand Boehme.)
He's a catholic priest, not a genealogist, so I don't think he can help you - - but it depends on what your question is.

I sent you a message before with some names of Cemetery Board members for the Wymore Cemetery. I do not know if they can tell you anything about those buried in the Calvary Cemetery which is right next door to the Wymore Cemetery. You'll just have to contact them as ask them. If the catholics are in charge of Calvary Cemetery, perhaps Father Boehme can tell you the names of the Calvary Cemetery Board Members and how to contact them. Or, perhaps, he has the burial records in the catholic church office and someone from his staff can look up information about the Mary Freeman and the James Freeman you mentioned. You should call or write his office. I gave you his church address and phone number in the earlier message.

Once again, I do not manage the findagrave memorial for either Mary Freeman or James Freeman.

Additionally, I live in Lincoln, Nebraska. The Wymore and Blue Springs, Nebraska areas are more than an hour's drive away. I was there once in 2011 and once in 2012. It would be best to get in touch with people who live in the Wymore or Blue Springs, Nebraska area. These two small towns are located only a few miles apart.

I hope this helps in some way. Henry6716

RE: freeman burials
I would suggest you contact two people to help you in your search for the burial site for Mary Freeman.

1. Call or write to the St. Mary's Church, Rev. Ferdinand Boehme, 107 North 11th St., Wymore, Nebraska 68466. Phone: 402 645-3051. You might say that 3 Freeman's are buried in the St. Mary's Cemetery, about 1 mile north of Blue Springs, Nebraska: Anna (abt. 1870- Aug. 10, 1910); John (Oct. 18, 1849 - Jan. 8, 1898); and
Anna (Sept. 1828 - Oct. 19, 1910). Ask if your Mary Freeman is buried in the Calvary Cemetery, adjacent to the Wymore Cemetery in Wymore, Nebraska. This Calvery Cemetery is an active cemetery with burials continuing.

2. For the Wymore City Cemetery, Wymore, Nebraska, call a member of the cemetery board: Chuck Shores, 402 645-3251. He lives in Wymore and should be able to tell you if she's buried there - - or direct you to someone who has the records.

I hope this helps. Henry6716 at Findagrave
