RE: Elizabeth Cooper
I took Jermyrah Sims' memorial photo and when I looked at the photo I knew where it was located. Elizabeth's stone is faded a good bit and with the sun behind, it is not easy to read.

Thanks for the photo I asked for and for taking the time to post the nearby Naert's. They are very distant relatives, but I have some of the family connections I can post on the edit pages. They are very distant relatives, but someone more closely related might appreciate the information. thanks again!

RE: Davis Memorials, Hall County GA
You are very welcome, Laura. I should have transferred them to you as soon as you requested them, since I DO believe that, absent unusual circumstances, a memorial should be in the care of someone who knew the deceased. I'd been hanging out in the Forums too much, I guess; those people can be so mean and stingy, and I'm sorry to say that some of that rubbed off on me.

Melcha Allen Davis (86880916)
Hi, Laura,
I've read your several SACs about Melcha and a few others connected with her, and I'm confused. I'll look at everything again tomorrow, after coffee. I did go ahead and link Melcha to her spouse, Jeff B.

Winnifred Elizabeth BOYLE Goult Dillingham
Hello and thank you so much for trying to find Winifred in Memorial Park Cemetery.

After receiving your report that she is not in Memorial Park Cemetery, I went to Midwest Genealogy Center and got a copy of Winifred's obit. She is in Mount Moriah Cemetery. (Her grand nephew steered me wrong.)

I am planning to call Mount Moriah Monday and get plot info and see if Winifred's spouse, John C. Dillingham, is buried with her. Her parents also are at Mount Moriah.

Thanks and hugs and best wishes

RE: by the way
Laura, you are absolutely correct. I met Fippie "Lucille" back in 1987. Not knowing this mystery would haunt me. I thought since all the family was in attendance they would know how she fit into the scheme of things. After her passing I ask the family how she was connected. Not a soul knew.. This has really bugged me since. Should have ask at that time.

BTW. Some may have her as "Lucille". She was know by her middle name..
The Social Security Death Index has her listed as Lucille S. Conkle.
Again, thanks so much for your help.

RE: by the way

Laura,

Thanks for taking a look at Fippie Sims Conkle. Should you make a tie to our Sims, I would certainly like to know how she fit into the scheme of our common relatives. Maybe someone will see our post and can make the tie.
I am told that Fippie was not a nickname. She and Jack Willie did not have children. However we have common relative that continue to live on "the mountain". Very near where uncle John Henry and aunt Surmantha are buried. Talk to them often by tele. If the email address on your bio is correct I will send the names and tele. numbers. I am certian they would love to chat with you.. Let me know.
Again, thanks so much for your help and work you are doing on Find A Grave.

RE: by the way
Laura,
We aren't related. However, we are related to common relatives.. My grandfather, Marion Conkle and John Henry Conkle were brothers. Uncle John Henry married Surmantha Sims..We are related in someway to almost everyone on Lookout Mountain. As a matter of fact, almost everyone in DeKalb and Cherokee Counties. I was just about to send you an emial and see if you could clear up a mystery for me. Uncle John Henry married a Sims.
His son, Jack Willie Conkle married a Sims.
I know they are related. Can your clear up this mystery? Take a look at Find A Grave Memorial# 57157932. The Conkle's and Sims are so intertwined, it's hard to know who belongs to whom. I even have the Browns of DeKalb County throw into the mix..
BTW. Thanks agin for pointing out the TYPO..
