Thank you for letting me know the dates, I made the changes and linked her to her son. If you want me to transfer them to you I will be glad to do so. Also very nice to see a pic so I have a face to go with the names.

Wilsons in Evergreen Cem, Loup City, NE
where was Arthur born and died?
are his parents Charles G and Emma? where are they buried?
the Leroy u gave me cannot be a child (1864-1918)-maybe a brother?
the 1900 Census, Clay Co has an Arthur m. to Dora (Lenora?), with a son, Leroy (b.~1895) and daughter, Alma (b.~1898)- is this the right family?
where was Leora born and died?
did they ever live in Omaha? where Hazel might be buried?
HELP!! :) k

I do not have the McCue Geneaology, but I do know that in the 1870 Census, RW Wilson and his family was listed as living with/near some McCues. Are these the same people?

RE: wilson's in rushville cemetry
I guess that makes us second cousins once removed. Shirtale cousins sounds about the same!

I met Truey and Pearl on occasion and have been in contact with their son Walter's wife Shirley. Walter has passed but Shirley and Walter's sister Judith live near each other is Sioux Falls, SD. I am hoping to get there this year to meet up with them.

I live in Branson, MO, originally from California. Being here in the midwest has been great for tracing family roots as this is where most of my family came from!

I will send you more information by email, look for something from!

I is great to get to know you,

RE: wilson's in rushville cemetry
It looks like my Greatgrandfather and your Grandfather were brothers! Robert White Wilson and Cyrus Amos Wilson, the only children of William Demar Wilson and Mary Crooks

My Great Grandfather was Cyrus Amos Wilson, who married Anna Edith Laird. They had my Grandfather Virgil Martin Wilson who married my Grandmother Olga Louise Wevik.

They had my father, Melvin Delmar Wilson who married Lorene Virginia Garges.

There was a family reunion several years back in Kellogg, Iowa, not far from the Rushville Cemetery. It was a reunion of the decendents of Robert White Wilson and Johanna Demar. The decendents of each of their ten children were considered a "clan" for this reunion.

My brother and I were the only members of the William Demar Wilson clan....very sad...I know there are lots more of us out there....and now here you are!!!

Let me know what information you need/have and we can go from there. I don't have a whole lot, but I do have some and am glad to share it.

Are you on

I am indeed related to those Wilson's buried in Rushville Cemetery. Robert White Wilson and Johanna Demar Wilson were my 2nd great grandparents and William Demar Wilson and Mary Crooks Wilson were my great grandparents.

Who was your grandfather/mother on that side?

Resthaven Cemetery Photo Request

You made a photo request on Find A Grave in Resthaven Cemetery in Oklahoma City. This cemetery is ENORMOUS, so to get a photo a plot location is needed. Please contact the funeral home:

The funeral home charges non-family members (office walk-ins - like me)to do plot location lookups, so please mention your relationship. When you have the plot number, add it in the PLOT box (if you own the memorial). If you don't own the memorial, send me an email with the information.

Good Luck,

Do you happen to have the years of death for the people you are asking about? Have you checked with the cemetery office?

RE: Leroy and Hazel Wilson graves
Rosella, remember that just because he's not listed on Find A Grave for a particular cemetery, that does NOT mean he's not there! he just may have not been added yet! so if u think u may have found the girl, then call Forest Lawn and see if the boy is there!! he was old enough to have taken off by himself, tho! he could be anywhere! My cousin's husband's cousin took off to sea and no evidence of him ever returning! good chance that ur relative is in NE tho!! pls let me know if there's anything else i can do for u! I love a mystery!!! :) k

RE: hughes
Hi Rosella! (what pretty name!)
I think I have more questions than answers for you -
in 1900 the family was in Clay Co, NE
1910 Sherman Co
1920 Kimball Co
1930 Howard Co
1935 Arthur (widowed) Howard Co
1940 Arthur (boarder) Hall Co
Leroy died in 1918 - were they still in Sherman Co or had they already moved on to Kimball? could he be buried there? I can't find a WWI Draft Registration for him and that would have told us where he was ~1917
Hazel could have been same situation - b. and d. Sherman or Kimball Cos?
There is no record of either of them in the book at the entry to Evergreen Cem, and I photographed the entire cem...
But, here's the big question...why are Arthur and Leora buried there? Why go back to Sherman Co, unless someone who died earlier was buried there???
Sorry, I can't help more! :( k
