RE: Jane Caroline Lawrence Brown
Hello Thana, I'm a really distant relative of her's but I do have a lot of information about her family that I have been researching and I'm still finding more info about them. If you would transfer her memorial to me that would be great so I don't have to keep making you change things.

Sincerely and Thank You,
Karen Hiles

Hello Thana, thank you for your nice message regarding Charles, I am honored to have been able to contribute to his memorial.

The courage and sacrifice of these young men like Charles should never be forgotten, it is what makes our country great.

All the best, Jeff.

I posted 3 pictures for Barbara and Doc. I'm afraid they didn't turn out too well because of having to photograph through glass. She was really a beautiful lady!

That's all I need. Knowing that she is in a columbarium helps a lot. I'll take care of it soon and look for "Doc", too.

RE: White headstone - Lebabnon Cemetery
Enjoyed the note. Glad you went to look at the house. They have really fixed it up. Do you remember visiting Toccopola? That house? What else do you remember?
Interesting your folks owned the Oxford Eagle.
I fulfilled all the requests I could with what I had taken the other day.
I saw the McLarty graves but did not photograph. Will get those.
There are more White graves I have pics of so if you want to request more go ahead. At least two more Zenus Whites!

Mount Moriah Photo Request
You might consider contacting the cemetery to obtain the grave block and lot numbers. The cemetery is huge and there are over 100 photo requests...too many for the volunteers to research. You can send them to me on Find a Grave or update the memorial if you are the manager.

RE: White headstone - Lebabnon Cemetery

Happy to provide all the pics I can. I photographed all of the White tombstones I could find in Lebanon Cemetery. Might be some in the Toccopola City Cemetery but do not know.
There was a Mrs. White that still lived here when we moved in 25 yrs. ago. She was a sweet, old, (yes) white haired lady that was in one of the older homes on 334 that passes through the town. We met her and visited her several times. She was a sweet lady. At one point she had her roof replaced. She had an old tin roof but it was made of 1' x 2' pressed tin "shingles". We went and collected hundreds of them and still have a huge pile of them behind our barn. When she died her home stood empty for several years then a couple bought it and did a good bit of work on it. Then they left, it sat empty again, and then last year...of all things...a young couple bought it and have put a florist shop in it! They deliver everywhere so it does not matter where they are. It is an actual business in Toccopola and they have preserved Mrs. White's house doing a LOT of work on it.

I'll watch for the other requests and see if I can fill them.

White headstone - Lebabnon Cemetery

I just uploaded pics of the Sam & Susan White headstone you were looking for in Lebanon Cemetery in Toccopola, MS.
There are many more White family stones in the cemetery. I notice many familiar ones on Sam White's page.
If you are looking for images of any of these let me know.

Killion's in Lebanon cemetery
If you go to my bio page you can find my email and we can keep in touch that way. I hope we can meet up next year. I am not related to the Killion family and would be happy to transfer management to you - just put in transfer request. Thanks,

Polina Killion stone
I added the photo that I took of the south side of the stone. It appears to possibly say Jacob but it is very difficult to read. You might want to re-arrange the photos on the memorial and if you want to add other photos please let me know and I will delete the ones you don't want. If I get out that way again I will stop by and see if I can read anything else.

RE: Polina Killion marker
The area where it was inscribed it was hard to see and I think the sunlight was just right to be able to tell there was something written there. Just lucky.

RE: Wilson and Klase photos
I glad that it helped... that was crazy. Had you not requested out of both lots, I would not have guessed that they were of the same family.
Do also check out the links on my page, especially if you new to St Louis research. They might help.

Happy hunting,

I would call this definite proof that they were all related.

Please read the caption.

I am working on them... They are interesting...
They are buried in one lot but some of them have stones in the other lot.

So it going to take a bit. I have not forgotten you or the others that I have claimed!

RE: White family photos
I will post photos under Franklin and Elizabeth and you can decide if they are correct. I could read "FRANKLIN WHITE" and MARGARET ELIZABETH" on top of stones but couldn't make out any dates. I am waiting to hear from church secretary to see if they are listed in book of marked graves. Will let you know if she finds them.

RE: White family photos
I went back to cemetery today and I corrected requested photos. I also have photos from family plot I can't find a home for, Franklin and Margaret Elizabeth White.
