Location of St. Peters Catholic Cemetery
I am in need of the above cemetery (Okreek) location on the ground. See you have take some very nice photos of the cemetery, hoping you can remember where you (it) was. Also, have a list of some other large cemeteries in the general area, that do not have photos, that you might have locations for. Any and all help will be useful. I am working on a USGS project trying to get SD cemeteries into the master data base for the 7.5 degree maps. Have located over 1500, but Todd county has some interesting problems.

There's a glitch with Find a Grave that I notice about twice a year, where duplicate memorials are generated, about one a day for a number of days, presumably until someone from Find a Grave notices it and is somehow able to stop the process. I've brought it to their attention previously.

Thank you ever so much for the photos for my wife's Great Uncle Nap's grave. His first wife is buried here in Burke NY. Thank You for the edit info too, we are trying to determine his year of death, our records show a 1986 obituary. Thanks again for your time in filling this request, as you can see I'm new to Find a Grave but am enjoying doing photos and some research. Kirk

Hi, You sent me a message indicating "This is a duplicate with your own record, #39343614. You mis-spelled her last name."

When I brought both the memorials are for different people.

RE: Leveille
I prefer not to get into this via a public message but can tell you that the diocese mis-spelling my great-grandmother's maiden name has created a lot of inaccuracies. Even my own at one point in time. The photo I sent in my previous reply should help clarify that. I may know who Marie Ida actually is -- I just need to connect some dots.

Yes I have plenty of information. The diocese has the dates correct but her maiden name was not Lemieux. If you can send me an email I will provide all the info. you need.

I noticed that you connected a child to my Great Grandfather's memorial page. This is not the right Olivier Chasse and not a child of his. The last child born is Lesime Chasse in 1902. Olivier wife was Genevieve Hebert. So the last 2 children that were added are not connected to this Olivier Chasse.

Hi Suki:
Interesting ! I don't know how accurate the family tree I looked @ on Ancestry is but according to them,Lulu's given name was "Louisa" & I'm "assuming" she was named after her Dad Louis as her Mom's name was Julia(Dubray)...

Just wanted to share that little tid-bit w/ya...

Have a great day & THANK-YOU for all of your help

Hi Suki:
There was a complete obit for Leah this morning & she was raised on the Rosebud reservation. Her parents were Robert & Lulu.Waln.
You have a memorial for her Mom but for some odd reason or other, her Dad isn't there.I don't know exactly how many siblings she had as her obit simply states she was predeceased by all of them.

Her husband is still alive as he lives in Rapid Valley.Maybe when you get a chance, you can track down her Dad if your able ?

Hiya Suki:
It was worth a shot I guess by asking you about the Waln family.I'll have to wait & see what her plot info is once she's been laid to rest @ BHNC & see who her husband is & take it from there...

Thank-you for trying though as I really do appreciate it :-)

Have a safe & Happy Holiday Season,

Leah.Waln.Bradford #156091018
Hi Suki:
Would you by any chance know who the parents & siblings are of Leah's ? Her obit doesn't say anything in regards to her family members etc.In my search of her relatives,I came across a lot of memorials for people that you had created that have the last name of "Waln".

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I've hit a road block w/this one I'm afraid.

I don't see a Bradford @ BHNC of whom might be her husband so I'm "assuming" he is still alive...

RE: Pvt. Joseph H. A. Laliberte
Hi Suki, thank you for your reply. Do you know anyone of the Laliberte family that would be willing to correspond with the adopter ? Did Mary Ange or any of the other brothers or sisters have children ?

Pvt. Joseph H. A. Laliberte
Suki, are you related to Pvt. Joseph H. A. Laliberte or do you know anyone who is. Pvt. Laliberte is buried at the Netherlands American Cemetery in Margraten, The Netherlands. His grave is adopted and the adopter would like to get in touch with the Laliberte family. I have found memorials for the entire Laliberte family created by yourself and I also discovered that his sister Flore Laliberte Bouffard may still be alive. How great it would be to let her and the rest of the family know that the grave of Hector Alcide (Joseph) is adopted. Hoping you can help us. Thank you !

Jane Viola (Larose) Tinkham Rioux
on Jane Viola (Larose) Tinkham Rioux you show she is the daughter of Clarence H. and Ethel Gray Tinkham. Thus She was a Tinkham, and her name should be listed as Jane Viola (Tinkham) Larose Rioux. Tinkham being her Maiden name and Larose and Rioux for her Husbands who You've also listed.

Henry Fournier
Hey stranger! So I've spend quite a bit of time fixing my daughters family and now I'm back on the Fournier's for a little white....

And, I found Henry's death info! he died in Hartford in 1944 and is burried in Bloomfield CT...just a few short miles from where I was living all of my life.

It's a small world, even smaller, I did locate his 1942 draft card a while back and he was residing with the great grandfather of a man I met several months ago that asked me to look into his genealogy. It does not get any stranger then that!

Anyways, I'm still wondering what happened to his mother. I did sign up for Ancestry and did find her in the Biddeford directory in 1916 using the name Emily Fournier....any ideas?
