Go Seahawks! LOL
John
Thank you for the New Year Message. I survived again! Yah!
I sent you an e-mail this morning and it bounced. Is it possible that you can send me an e-mail so I can send you a file? A lady "Anita" from the Netherlands is looking for her sister-in-law in the Seattle Area. I sent you a word doc with all of the correspondence and information and it bounced.
When you moved, didn't you take your e-mail address with you? LOL

Go Hawks!
Larry

Re: Find A Grave Correction: Laurin Lovejoy
Hello. Thanks for the obituary which I had not seen. Some of the information in the memorial came from another Seattle Times article on April 9, 1942, page 14 , upon his retirement. It contains the same photo as the one in the obituary.

As a rule I don't post obituaries or other published articles on findagrave because of copyright laws and findagrave rules, although these seem to be widely ignored by others. Perhaps one day I will change my mind on that. But I can use information from these articles to put in the memorial. Thanks again.

Sorry to hear you are sick.
I have made the links for Kate Burkebile.
I hope you feel better and are able to enjoy the holidays.
I'm back to being able to put sheet rock up and having no concerns about my health. I told the owner to bring another 30 sheets of 1/2" and 7 heaters so I can wire them up and turn them on the next time it gets to be 10 outside. Brrrrrrr.
Blessings to the World

Re: Vivian Cochran
Thank you for the additional information on Vivian Cochran. I have updated her memorial based upon this additional information. I have not decided what to do with the obituary. Find A Grave discourages the posting of obits in the Bio section of memorials due to copyright issues.

And to you. I haven't forgotten about cleaning your families' stones here. I am trying to get their address from the cemetery office. They are not being helpful at all.

Thanks for the picture of George Preston's headstone. I will try and verify his birth year and make the change. I need to try and make it up there someday.

Julie Coryell
RE: Sunset Lane Eagle
Yes, this is an example of modern artwork--not so common as in older cemeteries. The eagle is very large, maybe even larger than life size, and there particularly in honor of the veterans of the 20th century wars that are buried there. Being stark white, it is especially effective against the dark evergreen trees in the background. This cemetery is still very actively used for our small community of Port Orchard and indeed is well cared fo.r
