Charles Emerson Memorial# 114282596
I was in this cemetery in 2005 and took pictures of the gravestone. It reads ". . . DIED Dec 18 1849 at age 24 years, 3 mos" which would make his birthdate around Sep 1825. If he were born in 1818, he would be too old to be the son of Nathaniel, born in 1802 and married in 1825.

Thanks you so much for the photograph! It appears that perhaps you went above and beyond the call of duty by having to remove quite a bit of leaves and dirt to obtain it. I sincerely appreciate your willingness to do so.

# 120801958 is a duplicate. More data and connections have been added to the gravesite I entered but no photo. Do you possibly still have the photo to upload. It would be nice to somehow get the photo transfered. Grace

Hi, Lois

Thanks so much for your quick response to my photo requests for this family and the nice close-up photos. I haven't been having a lot of luck getting my requests fulfilled so this is great! Wish there were more like you.

RE William Sawyer Seavey, Pine Hill Cemetery, Dover, NH
You were kind to transfer this memorial to me. Please know that, although I have Seaveys in my direct line, he is probably only a distant cousin to me. I know that I bombarded you with lots of information. Now that it's added, if you want him back, just let me know! :-)

The Mikado, et al.
RE: Wright W. Hussey
I would just make a note that the family sheet on Ancestry.com specifies that.

It does not say whether it's take from a Bible or what, but there's usually a reason for an exact date.

Though tombstones are often wrong (and I'm guessing the death registry said TBD years at death and they just subtracted from the death date), you could just leave it and add the note I mentioned for family researchers.

Whoever submitted all that had info on his parents and siblings, so I'm guessing it's either from a Bible or an old publication.

Shirley White
Brown Cemetery
Somersworth has a burial book and this cemetery is noted in the book as Brown, Aldrich-Radford, it is also noted as Map 42 on High Street -Notes, All stones are down and some covered over, should be easy to clean up. Site is surrounded by granite posts and connected by iron pipes. Several sunken graves, indicating possible covered stones.
This info was gathered by Brian P Tapscott in 1988
can you add this info to your site. Brian had no more names than you do.

Thanks for the Veterans' gravestone photos. They are a lasting tribute to the men who defended our country, and I am sure the families will take delight in them.

Thank you for the transfers. I find most of the Hunts at Pine Grove Cemetery are the same family and I do appreciate you doing so promptly all the edit requests I had. I can tell you are a true genealogist. You are doing a great job. Thanks for your efforts to make it all so easy for us that search. M.Andersen
