I found a Lindsey/King family "will" I believe you might be interested in. I sent you an ancestry.com message on the subject matter. Captain Thomas Lindsey wife is Lydia Keziah King.
Her father is Captain Charles King. Her mother is Charity Pennington. In her father's "will"... he names his "married" daughter as "Lydia Lindsey". The Lindsey & King families were living in the same town during the same time period.
-Terry great grand daughter of Martha Ellen Lindsey and James Allen Bryant.

|Lisa Hildreth Rhodes||EC & Ida Hill / Belle Plaine TX|
Hello Ms. Blackmon,
I noticed that you recently placed flowers on EC & Ida Hill's pages. From the messages on your profile, it appears that you are related to the Cutbirth family rather than the Hill family.
I am the gggranddaughter of Cliff's younger brother John Thomas Hill. I believe that Tom fathered my grandmother Ada (b. 1880) when he was in the army 1876-80. I have been researching the Hill family for a few years and have visited Abilene and Belle Plaine twice. I have yet to make contact with any Hill family members and would love to find out more about the family. Any help you can give would be so appreciated.
Thank you for your attention,
Lisa Hildreth Rhodes

Question: How did you know Samuel's daughter Martha had the middle name Ellen ???
I have been saying that for years... and no one would listen. I have her son's death certificate and medical records showing his mother's (Martha) full name.

|Neal McEwen||viola humphreys|
I just transferred ownership to you. Viola died in a hospital in Abilene, in Taylor County according to her death certificate.
Viola is my second cousin two times removed. She used to visit my grandmother in Fort Worth and brought gifts from China. I have some of Viola letters from China. Nothing of genealogical value, usually a greeting and plea to support her mission. She "adopted to Chinese kids" Not legally of course.
In later years she attended the Baptist Seminary in Fort Worth.

I received your request and went to Desert Memorial Park's office yesterday seeking Chris Ann Stefan's location. I was informed they had no record of her being buried in the Desert Memorial cemetery. Unless you can provide me with additional information, I'm sorry I couldn't help you.

Ms. Blackmon, I've transferred Harley Fannin to your care. I added what you suggested, but you may change whatever you would like. :)

I see you added a picture request for Jesse Mabry @ Forest Park Cemetery in Houston. If you would call the cemetery at 713-928-5141 and get a "SECTION" and "LOT" I will try to get the picture you want. This is a very large (225+) acre cemetery and without a location would be very hard to find.

|Tom Sidwell||Cutbirth Family|
Debra, I just found this site and was amazed to find all the history on the Cutbirth family. My grandmother was Rosa Lee Cutbirth Sidwell. I remember Uncle George and Uncle Alvin when they came to New Mexico to visit my grandmother in the 1960's. Velma also came with them.
Hope to hear from you sometime. Thanks
