|Eddie Moore||RE: Samuel Moore|
Thanks for the reply. Since I sent that message to you one of my cousins sent to the National archives and got a gold mine of information on O ur Gr., Gr., Grandfather, James Harvey Moore. There was a lot of depositions over pensions. One stood out more than any of the rest from a man named Andrew Moore. He was known around here as "Andy Moore". My Dad argued for years that we were no relation to him, but according to his deposition, they were brothers. He told about him being Married 4 times and the stories about his wives. Because of this and different census records, for Lawrence Co., Ky., and West Va., we believe that his father was Samuel Moore of the of the 4 Moore brothers( William, David, Samuel, and Harry (Harrison) ), the Sons of James Fitchpatrick (Moore). I learned a lot about him thru all this info.If you want me to We can discuss more about this later. I want to thank you for your time. Don't be a stranger. Hope to talk to you soon. Eddie Moore.

Pamela, My name is Eddie Moore. I live in Lawrence co.,Ky. Me and my cousins are trying to research our family tree out. We've gotten back as far as our 2 times Gr.Grandfather, James Harvey Moore. We est. he was born around 1828,died Feb.27, 1894 here in Lawrence Co. We know of him having a brother named Andrew J. Moore. James H. was a Private in the 14th Ky. Inf. We know according to cencus and marriage records their father was born in Ohio and their mother Va. (Probably Wayne Co.,W. Va now). I was wondering if they may related in some way to Samuel Moore. If you need more information I can tell you what I know. Maybe you know something or someone who could help us. Any help would be appreciated. Thank You. Eddie

Pam, I made the corrections for Arvil Simms in the Milton Cemetery. The year 1938 is the correct one. As for his mother, you may be on the right track. I'll see if I have anything on her that may help.

I tried locating Frank for you today and came up empty. I did however find Monte McNeely that you mentioned. I didn't see Franks tombstone anywhere there but it is a big cemetery. I will try to locate it next time i go there.

|Bucky10||James "Dim" Tiller|
I am a family member of the Tiller/Blackburn family. First I would like to thank you for the memorials you have listed. In the memorial you ask for anyone with information to contact you. It was just yesterday that I went to a viewing and confirmed the information on Mary Bell Blackburn Tiller. She did pass away in 1990 in Columbus, Ohio. Her son told me they had a viewing at Maeder, Quint, Tiberi Funeral Home on S. High St. in Columbus, OH. Per her request her body was then transported to Kentucky because she wanted to be interred with her husband James "Dim" Tiller. I do not know why 1990 was never engraved on their stone. I informed her son of this. I also have compiled information on her children. Only 2 sons are now living. Mary Belle Blackburn Tiller was my Great Aunt. Thank you,

Hi Pamela, I don't think we are related. I was transcribing the graves from Palm Memorial Gardens into Find-a-Grave as a favor to some people I met online from WV. If you have any information on him or anyone else I have transcribed, just let me know and I will add it. Patty

I linked in the memorial number 93487277 for Albert Moore with Oscar Moore. I hope this helps. Let me know if I can be of any further help. As a side note of interest, Oscar was the husband of my Aunt Carmel. She and my natural father, George Hurst Muncy, were siblings.
