The information came from the Fairmount Sexton records at the Denver Public Library. You can find a digital copy here:

http://digital.denverlibrary.org/cdm/ref/collection/p16079coll14/id/3578

Minnie can be found on page 392.

I've seen this happen before. Evidently, the records back in 1953 weren't copied completely or weren't kept as well as they could have been. I'm sorry for your disappointment but at least you do have more information than you had before.

You should probably change the burial information on the memorial. I would suggest trying to contact the cemetery where her parents are buried in St. Louis. She may very well be there.

You are welcome for the information. They are related through one of my grand aunts. I did notice however, that it duplicated them on the spouses' listings. You may want to correct that ... Just an FYI and sometimes another pair of eyes make the catch!

RE: Otto Louie Christ
The obit is not my copyright. The details in newspaper obituaries are supplied by the families. When I write bios for the memorials I manage, I often include additional information from sources like the National Archives, and try not to use the precise wording or even organization that is in the newspaper/mortuary obit.
However, I do try to give credit as much as possible. That particular obit came by way of the volunteers who transcribe old newspaper articles for the Washington County Genealogical Society, which maintains copies of the newspaper clippings in the Blair, Nebraska Public Library. So I include a nod to them, as well as to the newspaper/issue when I know it (some of the obits came from family clippings, and they didn't write the publication date or newspaper name on the clipping).
I also try to give credit to the mortuary, because they are the ones who initially gathered information that the family wished to make public, and wrote the obits for the newspaper. The other reason I cite the mortuary whenever possible is that they keep records. I have asked mortuaries about death dates/plot locations even for people who passed away in the 1920's, and they have been kind enough to look it up. When that happens, there is a special thank you included for the mortuary.
Once in a while, a newspaper will publish additional stories, with a byline for the news-writer. If I use any of that, I cite that person as well.
Once an obituary is published in the newspaper, that information is available to be read by many, many people. The family information was provided by the family itself. It is no longer confidential.
FindaGrave has policies as to using obits from later than the mid-1950's, but I rather suspect that, although FindaGrave is free, they accept advertising and partnerships from companies and groups that plan to charge people for copies of obituaries.
I understand that even if the material were copyrighted, the copyright fades away after a certain number of decades.
That is longer than you wanted, I am sure. Basically, give credit where you possibly can to the source of your information, like the 1930 US Census, or "this was written in his daughter's Bible", or "according to my great-aunt,..." Obits can definitely be wrong, too. That is where tombstone photos help--though tombstone carvers could make (or be told) errors as well. Usually if there are several accounts, I go with the stone. But that is why there are managers to memorials--people can add to or clarify things many years later, and send edit requests.
I will say that one good obituary can make sense of an entire family, and that happened for me when I read Otto Christ's obit (I am one of the volunteers for the Washington County Gen. Soc., so when I was transcribing the cemetery I lined it up with the obits already online. That is how I found Otto's obit--for now, the only one we have for his family. I was able to link his father to his mother, for instance, and knew what the father did for a living (farming) and that the family had moved to different states quite a number of states during the time they were raising their children (Otto included).
The oldest obits can really be gory, like blow by blow details of a suicide by Paris Green. That stuff I don't put into the memorials, other than, perhaps that the person was murdered, or died in a car accident, or by suicide. It is hard enough on a family to know that ggg-grandpa was hung without reading about the details. However, for the Washington County Gen. obits, I type them as written, many years ago.
