Murray
Thank you for the information on the Murray Family in Ottawa Avenue Cemetery (and for prompting me to try and finish what I started; I will try to have new ~hopefully more legible~ photos taken soon and will try to locate the obituaries to confirm everything). This should not take me too long, so check back often if you are interested. :)

RE: Gillam
The only clue I have for Jacob Robert Gillam is
he died October 07, 1953 and his funeral was at the Vancouver Funeral Chapel. I was hoping the the chapel would be associated with a cemetery or have funeral records. Lulu May(Swain)Gillam was supposed to be buried at Finley Sunset Hills in
Portland, but they have no record of her. Lulu's father, William Henry Swain and her sister Emily Francis (Swain) Gillam are both at Columbian Pioneer in Portland. Emily Francis Swain married Edward Gillam, brother to Jacob Robert Gillam.

It is raining in Spokane today but is supposed to clear up tonight and be Sunny tomorrow. I will get out to Fairmount tomorrow, weather permitting. Lawn 16 at Fairmount was a pauper lawn their are very few stones, some families placed stones at later dates when they could afford them, but I would not hold my breath!

Hello, I have posted the photo for John W. McConnell on his memorial. Do you know the cause of death for James McConnell or John W. ?

RE: James McConnell
You are welcome for the photo. It was interesting because another stone was broken and laying in front of his marker for 4 year old John W. McConnell. I wasn't sure if you were interested in a photo for him but I have a picture if you would want it. :)

You are very welcome.

It just dawned on me that you had also requested an updated photo for Martin. I had forgotten that, but have now added it.

Cheers! Steve

I think I've re-worded the bio of the small child 1814-1818 to make it clear that there was a 2nd child also named Moses - that 2nd child 1829-1892 grew to adulthood & was killed in 1892 by a falling barn door out in Nebraska. Does it make better sense now ? Thanks for pointing out the possible confusion.

You are quite welcome. I have transferred the memorial for Esther. I also do not live in Illinois, we live in Delaware. We were out there visiting my wife's Grandmother and looking for graves of her relatives. I figured while I was there I would look for a couple of Find A Grave photo requests.

RE: James Jefferson Wolfe links made
It is Deana523@att.net.

At one time I saw a story on James Womack, not sure exactly which one that it was, as this guy was an elected official in Springfield. Illinois.

It was a great story, but I only seen it once and my memory is vague.

I found a list of the genealogy work of a lady from California who sent it to my Brother Dale, over 45 years ago. As I was building my tree, I rook information from Delores Lamb Vest, whose mother Bessie Wolfe Lamb living into her 90's, and had a great memory. There were a few old faded bibles that we got the info from. Nancy was Bessie's Grandmother.

Another confusion is that Lewis had another Daughter, Nancy Bell, whose descendants are in the DAR. As you look at the older Generation Nancy & Agnes were popular names, found in the Abner Womack's Family as well.

Deana
