Re Geertje Faber
That is a mystery indeed. I looked up the cemetery info (pasted below) The grave is occupied but it is possible it is occupied by Jacob Faber. I looked up the 1926 DAR cemetery transcription for Blain cemetery and there are no Faber's transcribed at that time. The other graves in the lot are as follows (all occupied except one): Marc Faber - grave 1; Henry Faber - grave 2; Elizabeth Faber - grave 3; Dorothy Lyzenga (not occupied) - grave 4; Tena Lyzenga - grave 5; Geertje or Jacob? - grave 6; Reka Prins - grave 7. So either Jacob or Geertje occupies grave 5 and it may be Jacob. If Jacob's obit can be found it may list interment info which would clear everything up.
Blaine Cemetery info:
Owner Name: FABER JACOB
Grave Status: Occupied
Cemetery Name: Blain Cemetery
Government Name: Gaines Township
Block Number:
Plot Number: 44E
Grave Number: 6
Burial First Name: GEERTJE
Burial Last Name: FABER
Burial Middle Name:

You're welcome. It's so much fun to find a "missing" name and link them to family.

Found her! She was right there with William but the online cemetery records listed her as Hendrick- male. Transient record listed her correctly.

Are you interested in her husband and son ? I took their pictures too but no memorials yet. I just didn't have time to enter them.

Mt. Hope Augusta, Me. Tupper
Hello-
I was at Mt. Hope yesterday and saw a stone with the name Tupper, Harry Tupper (1879-1928) and wife Alice DeLong (1879- ?) Wondering if they were part of your family. I have photos to add if they are your ancestors. :) -Debra Ann

RE: Alice Mary Tupper Sleeper
I had no idea Alice M. Sleeper was connected to your Tupper family. As you can see on the stone photo her maiden name is not engraved. It is a lovely stone and I recall wanting to photograph it as it has fallen to the ground and was covered in leaves at the time. Next time we visit Pine Grove will try and snap more photos for you. Kris MacNeil provided many missing answers (now added) to Alice's memorial. I'm happy he seems to have helped you advance in recording your family history. :)

RE: Alice Mary Tupper Sleeper
If you look in the 1810 census report on Lemuel Tupper, you will see that he is there with his first wife and their two daughters. Alice Mary Tupper is the first wife of my 3rd great-grandfather (James Henry Sleeper). She died from childbirth complications, as did her mother. What I've found in (family)records is that she was daughter of "Lem", and found that James Henry Sleeper married Alice M. Tupper (b. Waterville, ME) in New Sharon, Maine. Their daughter, Mary Alice Sleeper (named after her mother), was born in 1834, d. 20 Aug. 1851 (#38113138). Mary Alice is buried with James Henry Sleeper's 2nd wife (my line) Sarah Proctor--#38113011 (who also died from childbirth complications) and their 3rd child. James Henry Sleeper buried ALL his wives with their parents. (Financial reasons?) Was trying to tie them all together (on Find-a-grave), but Lemuel Tupper's first wife (Mary E.) shows up only in the Waterville, ME cemetery records--not find-a-grave. Who was "Mary E."? Found a record once that Electra's daughter Ellen referred to her mother as an "Emerson"--can't find that link and still don't know if she, too, disinherited her Dad in sympathy with her step-brothers and then claimed heritage from Lydia.
I just figured out how to join Find-a-grave (couldn't get past the identifier) will tie more together. I am interested in the Sleeper and Emerson lines, myself. Keep in touch.

I thought that you would appreciate those memorials, photos, and transfers. Lol - sounds like I was right! I went over the next day, to see if that was Main Cemetery, and it was. Glad you were pleased with your surprise! Chip

"Main Cemetery, Brockton" - ouch! That could be First Parish Burying Ground on Main Street, where other Keith family is buried. I hope it is not whatever they considered the "main" cemetery is in town, and I doubt it. Lots of active large cemeteries in 1915...

Bedtime for me too. later!

Hi - Please make the memorials. LOL - chances are I would just make them and transfer them to you anyway, so your doing so saves me the step. Also, there are 5 more names on the other side of that monument (no Pardon, sorry!). I will get to those soon...

Just make photo request on your new memorials and I will add my photos thru the notification.

I can go to the office and see if they have Pardon in their records. I should be able to do that within the week.

I have fulfilled requests for you here in the past. The surname was DOW. - Chip
