RE: Richard Fowler
You are welcome, Rick. You had no way of knowing there was no information on it - I was disappointed for you since often that is how we get birth and death dates. I took another photo of the site so you could at least see it in perspective and know it is in a lovely spot.
Have a happy holiday,

RE: Mary Lucas
You are very welcome. Mary's was tough for me because the sun is always behind her side of the headstone. I did my best to position myself so that the sun would interfere the least.

RE: Philip Ford
Thanks, Rick. I think that I have added all the information and links in your message. I'll need to go through my records and see what else I can add to the memorials :-) Alice

RE: Philip Ford
Rick - Did I link these correctly? I have Philip Ford as the son of Dorothy Phillips Booth who married Edwin Booth. Do you know the father of Philip Ford? Alice

RE: John Sommerlock Lee in Loudon Park

Thanks for the information. The Lee family is one of those branches for which I haven't yet done much research. The "twin" relationship was from research my cousin did, and shared with the family. I looked for Joseph on the 1900 Census and now I see that his birth date is more than 3 years before John's.

I'll make the correction in Find-A-Grave, and in my database. I'm John & Joseph's "first cousin once removed" according to my software's relationship calculator. We share John Frederick Sommerlock (the elder) as a grandfather. Are you related?

Hi Rick-

You're very welcome. Many of the nearby markers were snow covered. I'll stop back in a week or two when the snow melts and see if there are any family members nearby. I did notice that Margaret's stone did not have a death year inscribed, but the cemtery did confirm she is buried in that plot.

Sorry, I don't know any more about Charles C. Meyer in Elmwood Cem. I just took pics of that section & added them.

Thanks for the information-I corrected it. I'd used the birthdate from his supposed age of death, 62, that was listed in the Sun paper. Much appreciated! Dee

You're quite welcome. It was a bit nippy, but as bad as they say it will be tomorrow. I wanted to get that photo before it got really cold.

RE: Thanks

It looks like I never followed up regarding Arthur Fehesenfeld. I checked again and there are no other markers for Arthur aside from the one he shares with his wife. Cemetery records indicate that Arthur Jr is buried there as well, but there is no marker for him.

Accordingly, I believe that all markers are accounted for on FindAGrave. If there are some missing, let me know as I will be back there tomorrow.

No problem; I like a good mystery!

RE: Thanks
Yes, that is my assumption. In general, of course, two people sharing one marker is not uncommon, but on sites like this with a big family stone and smaller individual markers it is a little unusual. Next time I go (probably tomorrow) I will check to make sure I didn't miss any markers (certainly possible since I wasn't really focusing on that plot at the time).

RE: Thanks
I have confirmed, based on Loudon Park records, that Arthur Fehsenfeld (both father and son) is indeed buried there. Let me know if you need anything else.

RE: Thanks
Not yet, sorry. The last time I looked at the microfilm records I looked for the wrong Fehsenfeld. I hope to go again soon. I will keep you posted.
