Walter and Eva Stiver
Hi Sue,
I have a copy of the obituaries for Walter and Eva Stiver if you would like to have them. The cemetery records have Eva's name as Grace Eva, but her obituary, Walter's obituary, and her gravestone has Eva O as her name. I have put in a request to have her name on her memorial changed to Eva O. Unfortunately, I could not locate an obituary for Elias, Mary, Louise or John from the Germantown Press.

Hope this helps,

RE: Re: Stiver stones
You are welcome Sue. It was my pleasure. Is your line of the Stiver family through Elias Stiver? I don't think I have any obituaries for that family as of yet, but if I come upon some, would you like for me to contact you to let you know?

Have a great week!

RE: Claude D Donaldson
Thanks for the information. Yes I have seen the Memorial page for his information on his flight and the end of the story. Thanks for sharing and having a warm heart for Vets that didn't get to come home. I guess I was fortunate that I didn't have any brothers. My husband and my three sons never served in a war. My dad, the just older brother to Claude did serve during WWII but never went overseas. He served as an officer in the CCC and after that received an honorable discharge.

Hi! May I use your photo of Sallie Hays' headstone (Find A Grave Memorial# 108445426) in my family tree? My ancestry tree is dmccue158. If you grant permission, I will credit the photo to you and include a note that the image is not to be used for commercial purposes. Thanks, Donald

Martin Hawkins
I am searching for family information, and found your picture of Martin Hawkins tombstone. I am looking for my ancestor, George H Ryhn. I have a US Census from 1900 stating a George H Ryhn lived in his cousins home, his cousin being Martin Hawkins. Do you have any more info on Martin Hawkins, are you related to him?

Any info you could give would be greatly appreciated!!! Thank you!

Lisa B.

RE: James McMillen obituary
It's been 59 years I didn't think this would be an issue. My mother passed in September and there must be hundreds, maybe thousands of clippings; some without dates or source. Just thought this information would be helpful to others. Can't seem to put my finger on McMillen's right now, I had it when I sent the edit. I may have trashed it since it is not a family member. Just forget it for now. If I come a cross it again I will send you the needed information.

Thanks, Sue - I didn't understand the concept of a cenotaph when I left that note. I've got a lot to learn :)

Rev John Harvey Deere - duplicate memorials
I've just found 3 memorials for John Harvey Deere.
#42704581 - created Oct 4, 2009 maintained by Sue P
#79170450 - created Oct 23, 2011 maintained by Sue P
#85377754 - created Feb 22, 2012 maintained by Tropico Gravers

All 3 show he died in California, but the first two are in Indiana and the third specifies a burial plot in California. All 3 have headstones (first 2 are the same one). Hoping you can combine all the good info/relationship links and the correct burial location. I found these while researching a photo of him, which I'll post at the correct memorial after I sell it.

RE: Wolters photos-St Mark's Cemetery
The Wolters family enters my family tree with my GG-Grandfather's sister's daughter marrying
Herman Friederick Peter Wolters (1881-1926). So, fairly distant. Thanks, Bob.

Thanks for your efforts in taking pictures at this cemetery! May I use your pictures in my family tree? Bob

Hillabold, etc
My husband is descended from the Collins family. It was a Collins sister who married into the Hillabold family, so I believe my husband follows a different line.
