David M Rusk
Rusk Records
Hi there Sue, I am desperately seeking information on my relatives, William T. Rusk et al. I wanted to see who his parents were (I think his dad is another William Rusk) but I cannot find any actual hard copy birth and death records. I was hoping there might be church records somewhere, but I am from Indy and I am at a loss as to where and who I should contact. I presume since he is in the Presbyterian Cemetary in Waveland that I would need to find the corresponding church...but I don't believe there is one anymore. I was hoping that with some of the things you had posted in Find a Grave that you might be able to help me. If you would please and are able, my email is ruskdm@gmail.com.
Thank you in advance,

David Morgan Rusk

JACQUELINE GREEN RANSOM
Donald E Green
Hi could you transfer this memorial to me? It is
# 131490695 for my lil cousin Donald E (Emory) Green he was only 2 yrs old when he died and I remember to this day his sweet smile - his daddy is my daddy's baby brother - my daddy was the only father that this baby's daddy ever knew as their father passed away when lil Donnie's dad was an infant and my father Forest Green was the eldest of 12 and quit school to help keep the family together. Lil Donnie also has a brother named Jonathan Green that passed away before at around a month old - i am going to check if you have his memorial as well as I would like to have it.

Thank you

Thanks very much for these entries and the photos of their gravestones. And for adding my edit information. They are members of my husband's Hutton family. We are far from Georgetown so we greatly appreciate your efforts.

RE: Hunter W Johnson
The grave you found in Rest Haven Cemetery belongs to my Great-Grandfather Hunter William Johnson. I am not denying that there is a Hunter Warren Johnson, but that gravestone you found is my grandfather's, hence why I requested the change.

Respectfully,

Hunter Johnson

RE: Bert Long-James Long
Sue..Happy to help with Jame's info. When I find another person with the same surname and someone I'm taking a picture of, I also take that and see if it is needed later. As he died in 1944, I assumed it was during the war. BTW, if you contact the US Army or NARA you can get a copy of his military records and free duplicates of any medals he received, if you family.

Bert Long
Hi. I called the cemetery to get the location of the graves of Emma and Bert. I was told they had no record of him, just her. I went in today looking for Emma were I was told she was and could not find her. Upon asking for assistance, it was found that I was given the wrong information, and that Bert WAS there and was in the outside crypt next to Emma.
I see you took down the memorial page for Bert after i wrote that he was not in East Lawn. So, I made a page for him and asked for an edit connecting him and Emma. If you want that transferred to you let me know. There is also a crypt right before Bert's for Capt.James D. Long that I photographed and will add too.

Sue, can you tell me where you got the information about Christopher Hillabold's birthplace? You sent me an edit a few weeks ago, and I'm wondering about changing the information, but am not sure what is correct. Thanks!

RE: Re: Eleazer Fullenwider
The reason I included this info was because neither Katherine Winter's nor Jacob Fullenwider's graves can be found. This was the only spot to put their info, being tied into the same articles. Remove if you like.

Walter and Eva Stiver
Hi Sue,
I have a copy of the obituaries for Walter and Eva Stiver if you would like to have them. The cemetery records have Eva's name as Grace Eva, but her obituary, Walter's obituary, and her gravestone has Eva O as her name. I have put in a request to have her name on her memorial changed to Eva O. Unfortunately, I could not locate an obituary for Elias, Mary, Louise or John from the Germantown Press.

Hope this helps,
Becky

RE: Re: Stiver stones
You are welcome Sue. It was my pleasure. Is your line of the Stiver family through Elias Stiver? I don't think I have any obituaries for that family as of yet, but if I come upon some, would you like for me to contact you to let you know?

Have a great week!
Becky

RE: Claude D Donaldson
Thanks for the information. Yes I have seen the Memorial page for his information on his flight and the end of the story. Thanks for sharing and having a warm heart for Vets that didn't get to come home. I guess I was fortunate that I didn't have any brothers. My husband and my three sons never served in a war. My dad, the just older brother to Claude did serve during WWII but never went overseas. He served as an officer in the CCC and after that received an honorable discharge.

Martin Hawkins
I am searching for family information, and found your picture of Martin Hawkins tombstone. I am looking for my ancestor, George H Ryhn. I have a US Census from 1900 stating a George H Ryhn lived in his cousins home, his cousin being Martin Hawkins. Do you have any more info on Martin Hawkins, are you related to him?

Any info you could give would be greatly appreciated!!! Thank you!
