This is a duplicate of Record added: Jan 11, 2013 Find A Grave Memorial# 103403386.

The proper protocol would have been for you to submit the Cemetery information to me through the "edit" tab...not create another memorial.

Here is the rule...

If you are adding a memorial for someone who has recently passed or who does not have a physical grave or memorial marker in a cemetery (perhaps their ashes were scattered), please do a general search on Find A Grave (do not enter a location) to see if a memorial has already been created for that person. If you find a memorial has been added but has incomplete or incorrect information, instead of creating a duplicate memorial use the tools provided to submit corrections, additions or a transfer request via the "Suggest A Correction" link under the 'Edit' tab on the upper right of the memorial. Never deliberately create a duplicate memorial.

I will delete mine because you have family information on yours. Please follow the rules in the future...thank you so much.

Hi, Are you related to these folks? I would be happy to transfer the memorials and you can do what you like with them. I did remove the military photo from Jr. but did not put it on Sr. because it was not a good photo and I planned to retake it in time.

David M Rusk
William Rusk
Hi there Sue, I wanted to see if you might be able to help me track down my great grandfathers.

There is a William Rusk, born 1815, died 1883, and he is listed in the Waveland Presbyterian Cemetery, memorial #104478598. I have been there and found his son, William T. Rusk, but not William Rusk from 1815. Do you know where in the cemetery I can find him or any other information about him personally (like a death cert)?

I am stuck on this relative. There are hard, concrete facts about William T. Rusk but I cannot seem to get much on his father William Rusk. He supposedly was born in Maryland.

Any help you could offer would be fantastic. I can be emailed at ruskdm@gmail.com. Thank you in advance ma'am!

He is not buried in Georgetown Cemetery. He was MIA/KIA and was probably lost in the North Sea. He is listed on the wall of the missing in Cambridge, England. He was simply shown on the headstone of his parents. I am his niece, Becky Rubke

Sue,
We were uploading pictures this evening for the Percy Cemetery and realized there are two memorials for Minnie. Yours was the first one created and we thought you might like to know.

Karla Dorothea Biermann 117675965
Sue,
I’ve been agonizing over your memorial for Karla Dorothea Biermann (Find A Grave Memorial# 117675965) for some time now. Myself and a few family members have been trying to figure out who she is and who she’s related to with no success. I know that Lucille Wiechens has her information in Volume 3 of the Randolph County Cemetery series but I’ve concluded she transcribed this one incorrectly.

I believe that this Karla is instead my Grandfather’s baby brother Edwin Biermann (Find A Grave Memorial# 160694754). As you can see the dates are exactly the same and his parents are also buried in St. Paul Cemetery. Also, if you look at the curved line in the center of the stone I believe it says “Edwin” and that is not an “a” behind Karl but a symbol for “and”. I believe it says “Edwin, son of, Karl & Dorothea Biermann”

Would you please review this information and let me know what you think?

Gary Biermann (#47548637)

RE: Walters grave photos
You are quite welcome! This cemetery was a little tough, as all the graves are footstones only.. I could only search two rows at a time. With stand up tombstones, I can search up to 10 rows at once, so the search here was more time consuming! I was only able to find half the requests, but yours was the second one I located.

Walters in Shenandoah, VA
Hi - are you researching the Walters in Shenandoah? I noticed you suggested some changes. I've for an Elizabeth Lehew who married a William Walters in 1818 that I've been trying to tract down. Husband, children, etc.

we think she might be the Elizabeth Walters that is in the poor house on the 1850 census - I rented the film of it, and there wasn't much except that she entered there in the 1830s. Any help or leads would be wonderful :-)

Would it be possible for you to provide me with a copy of the documents for the sources that you mentioned regarding Eden Martindale, Sarah (Stigleman) Martindale, Bessie (Martindale) Gause, Alpheus Martindale, and Ruth (Hoover) Martindale.

I'm coming up with a different date on one and not able to locate information in order to confirm some of the others.

Thanks!
