Any luck ever finding Paul & Frieda Braverman at Britton Road? I know you were going to check with some funeral home you thought now had all of the records. I know that is the right cemetery just not sure of the section they are in.

Thanks

Hi Mary

As far as my dad can remember they are buried at Britton Rd. You may have something if it use to be connected to that other cemetery. My dad just says Britton Rd. I could ask him or my uncle if they remember the name of the funeral home that they used if there still around. Maybe they would have some type of record. I appreciate you continuing to look for them. I do remember seeing both of my grand parents monuments when I was a kid and they were upright and tall (or seemed to be when I was little). Not sure if that helps as I know some places have the flush to the ground markers. Let me know if there is any other info I can try and get for you that would help.

Thank you for going above and beyond the request for photos that I requested. I appreciated that you put up other pics that might have been related. You were right. I was so happy to get these pictures! I did not know where they were located. You helped to fill a hole in our family tree.

Thank you for looking for the headstone. You do not need to take a photo of the area. We appreciate you taking time to look for the headstone.

Sincerely,
Sandy and Dave Weber

I may have been wrong on the temple. I checked with my uncle and he says the name off the temple my grand parents belonged to when they died was called Beth Joseph Center. That is all he remembers. He things Paul Braverman died around 1950 and Frida around 1964.

I hope this helps. He could not believe there were no records or an office. Please let me know if this helps and if you find them.

RE: BRITTON RD
OK thanks for your help. I actually work at a cemetery here in Arizona so I know it can be hard to find locations with no records. I can't believe someone took the records and no one did anything about that! I have not been there since I was really little so all I can remember was they are upright markers no idea of where other than one of those sections. They belonged to one of those temples I am pretty sure of that. I can check with my uncle who may have more information. He lives in Rochester.

Thanks,

Gregg

RE: BRITTON RD
Thanks Mary

If I remember correctly they were members of either Temple Beth El or Temple Brith koddish. Not sure I spelled that right. The markers are up right and in English as I can remember seeing them when I was a kid. I can't believe they don't keep records in an office on site. Is that cemetery full and closed up now?

Let me know what you find.

I was putting pics on on all my Kelloggs and was about to do the last one (C Solon), then that was when I realized you had the wrong pictures in his memorial. Please remove the two pictures in error and the headstone because it has a person in the background. I would like to put my pics that I took in early July and they are my relatives. Please msg me privately. Thanks.

Isaac and Lucretia Staats
Thank you for the photo, but I am confused, the stone that is laying down, is that Isaac's? You mention that is is next to his sister's stone. Who is that? Isaac and Lucretia were married. Do you know what the fallen stone says?
The only info I have on "Isaac" Staats is from find a grave.com. A family tree at ancestry.com states that Lucrecia Peet married "John" Staats, b. in 1827 in NJ. Does the cemetery have a record stating that it is "Isaac" Staats buried there?
I really appreciate all your hard work.

Kathy

Jacob Epstein
Thank you so much for trying to get a photo of Jacob Epstein. The note that I have says that he is buried in the "Beth Hakneses Hachodosh section near Lake Ave." Also, it says that it is a high gravestone. I am particularly interested in a photo of the wording. Thank you so very much.

Jan Bos from Nijmegen, Holland
T/5 Max Weinstein
T/5 Max Weinstein was a soldier in Company K 26th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division and was killed in Sicily on 22 July 1943.
He was buried in the temporary American GELA Cemetery in grave A-10-111.

After the war his remains were repatriated and buried in the britton Road Cemetery in Greece, New York.

I am writing a book about the GELA Cemetery, where over 1200 Americans were buried in 1943-1947.

Apparently you took a picture of his grave, can I have your permiss to use the picture for my boik, of course you will be credited

thank you

Dean
Thank you for trying to find graves of Dean family at Webster Rural Cemetery. I made a note on each memorial that there is no headstone present. You can also photograph an unmarked grave if you can locate it. It visually shows that there is no marker present.
