Allen Family
Hello Arnold,

I have transfered your family members over to you. I see where you have been in contact with our cousin Othello Alkema. My mother was Lorraine Courser and I have a pretty extensive family geneolgy History on the Courser Family. Cousin Othello (Sue) Alkema. Has shared a lot of information and pictures with me on my trip through building a Corser Courser Family tree. I have been a member of Find A Grave since its inception and have found it a great resource of information. I have met a lot of nice people, and a lot of relatives I never knew I had. They have given me information and pictures helping me with my family story. If ther is anything you would like to know about the Courser Family Let me Know and I will see if I can help you. (Note) My father was the only person in his family born in America, and I had a cousin from England contact me through this site and came over for a visit. Now it doesn't get much better than that.

Bert and Elma Allen
Hi Arnold,

I'm not sure if you got my original reply I sent on the 11th via email. Here is what I sent below:

I do have some information on Bert and Elma I'll give you in this email. I do not have any pictures of Bert, but I have a few of his wife Elma that I scanned and attached to this email. Below is all of the information I currently have on both, if I come across any more, I will be sure to let you know.

Elma Courser Allen was born in 1881 in Isabella County Michigan, and died on March 31, 1941 in the same area. She married Benjamin Allen in 1899.

Benjamin "Bert" Allen was born in 1870, also in Isabella Couty Michigan, and died 1921 in the same area.

Both Elma and Bert are burried together in Union Cemetery in Isabella County. This information can be found on a website called FindAGrave. I provided the links below. They also have a picture of their headstones you can see on the website. I just added the two pictures of Elma to her FindAGrave page.

Would it be ok if I could have a picture of yourself and/or your family? I would like to add it to my Courser geneology book.

Your cousin,

-Othella Courser (daughter of Oscar Courser)
