RE: Samuel Ellis King
You're welcome! He is my great great grandfather too! This cemetery is very small, unmarked and the tombstones are in bad shape. Samuel and Catherine originally did not have a tombstone. From what I understand from my grandfather, the grandkids recently all gave money to purchase the new one around 5-6 years ago.

RE: Vincent Beffa 18253340
Anton Beffa from St. Louis was the informant for Vincent's death certificate. Which Anton? I have no clue. More from the cheating story, according to my mom, her great-aunt Hattie cheated with an exec from Falstaff brewing. There is a connection, just not provable yet at this point. :/

Vincent Beffa 18253340
I noticed you are also interested in the Beffa family. My great-great aunt Hattie Flunker was briefly married to Vincent Beffa. She was his second wife (out of 3) and it was a short marriage.

The story told to me by my mother was that Hattie cheated on him and then they either divorced or annulled. She also said they had a daughter named Patty and that because Hattie cheated, she lost custody.

Do you have any knowledge of this daughter? I've not found a single record to support a birth. I have a photo that might be her. My mother remembers her mother showing her a photo of a child on a pony and saying it was Hattie's daughter Patty. After my grandmother's death, I received some of her old photos. One is a photo of a child on a pony but now my mom cannot remember if it is the correct photo.

I've also not located any more records on Hattie besides the marriage license for her and Vincent. I've found his death certificate.

Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

RE: Daniel Naples - Adolph
Sorry, I don't have Adolph's parents. There is an Ancestry Tree named "Artland-Genealogie" owned by Dieter Diekherbers who has Adolph in his tree & has him listed as "Adolph L. {Monjoi} Naples, b. 16 Jul 1843 in Paris France, d. 4 Oct 1911 in St. Louis, Missouri" He doesn't have his parents, but I guess his surname (for French) is "Monjoi". Maybe if you try searching with that surname, you might find him. It's the only thing I know to suggest other than searching Paris, France records.

RE: Daniel Naples
Hi Racheal,
You're in luck, I do have his parents. Adolph L. Naples, 16 Jul 1843 in VA (I had found one reference that said he was b. in Paris, France. Not sure about that) He died on 9 Oct 1911 in Saint Louis, Saint Louis City, Missouri. (the county is listed like that). He is buried in Zion Cemetery, Bel-Nor, Saint Louis Co., Missouri. His Find A Grave #44312070.
Adolph married Lucinda F. Cagley on 23 Jan 1878 in Vernon, Missouri. Lucinda was b. 17 Jan 1851 in Cumberland Valley, TN. She was the dau. of Lewis Cagley & Elizabeth Grubb. Lucinda d. 1883 in Missouri City, Fort Bend, Texas. Most say she died in Vernon Co., MO. I haven't really looked for her burial. They were in the 1880 Fed. Census @ Harrison, Vernon, MO.
Her father Lewis Cagley(1802) was the son of John George Kegley (1766-1844) & his mother was Catherine Hutsell (1775-1850). Hutsell/Hutsel/Hutzel/Hutzell etc. are one of my main branches in my tree.
Oh, yes, I was going to tell you Daniel's middle name in case I hadn't. It was Stanious.

Hope this helps.

RE: Englaender
Family census records on the free '' site... if you sign in you can view the actual documents which give month an year of birth often... then if you fill in a family tree on (you can do this free if you don't have a subscription, just fill out the information they ask of you and don't subscribe)... then under 'Family Trees' at the top bar, select 'Start a New Tree' from the drop down. This way ancestry will give you hints with more information (even if you can't view them here fully, you can get enough information to know what to enter into familysearch. Each time to add more valid information into ancestry, you'll get more hints and census dates, etc. Let me know if you need more help with this. I've received a lot of help from several genealogy sites on facebook i.e. ... GermanyGenealogy

Lutheran Cem./Poll
Immanuel Luthern Cem. Is commonly refered to as the Lutheran Cem. You may want to consider listing the Polls there. Not to mention who ever created the other cemetery
page mis- spelled it Luthern!? Edit done on family links. Thank you.

Newman Britton
Thank you for the suggestion of adding Catherine "Kate" Britton as a daughter of Newman Britton. I would be happy to make the addition, except that I can only edit Newman's parent and spousal links. You will have to contact the creator of Catherine's memorial and have them add Newman as her father instead. Are you related to the Brittons, by any chance?

Adolph's wife, Lucinda F. Cagley Naples was my 3rd cousin 4x removed. Her grandmother, Catherine Hutsell Kegley (1775-1850) was my 4th great grand aunt. Catherine's parents were Johann "Peter" Hutzel (1750-1820) & Elizabeth Ann Davis Hutzel (1750-1817) were my 5th great grandparents.
Are you related?

I went by New Lorimier today to make double sure there is no grave for Emma Pinkston and there is not. She is on the official records at New Lorimier and buried in section 4 lot 121 and grave 3. This section 4 is the picture I placed on her page and lot 121 does not have any grave there - just green grass. You could call the city cemetery office if you would like and they could varify that she is buried there.(573) 334-1917 Ruth
