|Dennis Ferguson||Central PA Fergusons|
By way of introduction, I am tracing descendants of a William Ferguson (my ggggggrandfather) who came to PA from Scotland in 1801 (approx). Would love to compare notes, and would be more than happy if you are a "cousin" to share what I know. I have a cousin IN Scotland right now who can track leads there. If you have PA ancestors, drop me a line on here!
Yours, Dennis Ferguson

I saw that you added a portrait to Frank's memorial at Memorial# 6142993. I have just become the new owner of that memorial. I have linked him to his parents. Is there anything further you would like me to add? Do you know if he married?

Do you live in North Zulch? Thanks so much for taking this picture for me. I am worn out today and I do like to research my family, I just don't get into it like some people. It's just too many details for me and I have so many other things I like to do. Been a busy week, but maybe tomorrow I can pull out my info and make sure everything matches with the headstone of my Grandfather, Grandmother and my momma's baby sister Hellen that died when my momma was a little girl. Thanks again. I wonder if you know any of the Pilgreens up there? My momma was raised in North Zulch with her brother DB(he was named after his dad). Shirley was one of my mom's cousin's kids and her kids and grandkids still live in the area I think. We just don't know how to get hold to them anymore and can't find them on line.

I wasn't trying to intrude. I was just fulfilling a claim for photos. Didn't know you were to. Isn't it a beautiful headstone? I loved all of the curly lines. It must have taken someone ALOT of time to carve it.

|George Chris Hamilton||Joel Greenwood Cemetery|
I visited Joel Greenwood Cemetery today and can confirm there are no longer any tombstone there. The borders of the cemetery can still be seen. The cemetery is about a mile down from St. Mary's Catholic Church, on the right hand side, on what used to be a county road (CR205), but is now private land. You can see it on Google Earth.

You are very welcome. I know how helpless it feels when you want a picture of a loved ones headstone and have no one to turn to. This is a great service to all. Glad I could help

Hi, I just received a request you made for a photo from the Joel Greenwood Cemetery for William Montgomery. I looked up where this cemetery is located and this is what was posted for the cemetery:
This is a list of persons buried in the Joel Greenwood Cemetery. There are no markers.
Go to this site for your own information:
Since it says there are no markers, it would be difficult to get a photo.

|James Coston||Ferguson, City Cemetery|
Shelby, many thanks for the kind remarks on the tombstone foto. I have relatives buried there from the 1800's, and being a vet, when I finished that task I went looking for vets who were not well represented on findagrave. I am glad that my selection was waiting on someone to find it.
When I was there 2 years ago I didn't know much about edit and crop. All that has changed now. I went back and took my shadow out of the foto so now it is a clean shot of the tombstone only.
Thanks again for the kind remarks, that's the kind on reception that is the driving force behind being a findagrave foot soldier.
Later, James Coston
