Thanks for posting the picture of Ernest Mollenauer. He was my uncle by marriage. I live on Smith Mtn. Lake in Va. This past week was the first time I was able to visit his grave while we were in Norfolk.
Thanks again,

Hello - May I ask if you're family to, or know anything about, Eliza? I'm actually looking for information about her sister, Ella, who I believe married my great grandfather prior to Lilley.....

See you've been in Indiana too. Is it ok if I use Anton "Tony" Gorenc gravestone pic on my family tree? I'm sending to cousins in Slovenia to translate for us.
He was married to my Great Aunt (her 1st marriage) Frances Luzar Adams (in Slovenian Francka) I will send her Find A Grave memorial to you so you can connect their records.

RE: Margarette and Edgar Church
Margarette and Edgar are my beloved grandparents. I live in Florida and they're buried in Virginia. The last time I was in VA was for my grandmother's funeral ten years ago and I haven't been able to return since then and have never seen her headstone - until I found your picture of it online. Thank you for taking/posting a photo of my grandparents final resting place. Seeing it means more than you could know.

RE: Anthony Chasteen
Tiffany, Thanks for your note. I would love to learn more about your grandmother Chasteen line.
The information I have on Arnold Lee Chasteen, Jr (4 Dec 1954--7 June 2007) was that his mother was Clara Ann Niemeyer.
[Find A Grave memorial # 19787278]
I have ancestors born in Jefferson County, KY, but I don't have a Carol A Trybus.
my email address is

I would like to know more about Anthony Lee chasteen & Carol A Trybus. I don't have any of their children in my tree.
Can you give me your grandmother name, birth info and her husband name. I'm trying to "connect the dots" and find another cousin.

again Thanks

dealings with findagrave
Hi Tiffany,

Would rather have done this via email, however...Hope you are doing well. With regards to my dealings with findagrave, I think the last paragraph of my profile explains it better than I could:

"Management of all records has been transferred to a friend. I have finally given up on findagrave due to the emails from those only interested in numbers, claiming "ownership" of cemeteries, or just the general overall rudeness and apparent lack of common sense or intelligence of some."

I've pretty much had enough of those types of email messages I have received in the past few months, and since I believe I've done about all I can with Eastern Cemetery, it's time to check that off my bucket list. I haven't been back to Eastern for a couple of months, nor have I spent time with Phil DiBlasi in that time...the desire has been etched out of me.

I am contemplating doing one last go through, repeating what I've done already, and taking a photograph of every memorial, to include those that I can't read anything off of, this time. Then, that will be my last foray into Eastern Cemetery, once that is done.

I wanted to personally contact you and tell you this, as you've honored me by listing me as a friend. I will always be around if there's something you'd like to search for from Eastern Cemetery, or need something somewhere else. All you have to do is contact me directly, and if I can get it or already have it, then obviously, it's yours. I do have copies of a database of informational searches done over the years by Dr. DiBlasi's grad students, a copy of entries from 1915-1950 (for Eastern), a list of lot owners, and a copy of the burial maps for the entire cemetery. Let me know if there's anything I can do.

Take care. Please feel free to delete this "book message" if you like.

Rosemary Miller
Hi, I just ran across Rose Mary Miller grave stone. I have been looking for Rose Miller for years. I was wondering if her maiden name was Rickelman, born July 23, 1883. Death Sept 01, 1917. She married Thomas William Miller on May 25, 1905. By any chance are you related to her? Do you know where her grave is at Holy Cross/ St Joseph Cemetery. I can't find her headstone. Could you e-mail me and let me know. Thank you, Rita Wilson

Morrison, William H. & Mary Timmons Morrison and Elizabeth Morrison

I appreciate your adding William and Mary's photos to Find A Grave. With Mary's photo, I was able to learn her maiden name as well as her birth date but her date of death don't agree. If she died in 1839, she would have been 17. Do you have further info? I haven't been able to print the photos yet, but can make out the name of Elizabeth. Any idea who she is? I can see an Elizabeth on the 1870 census but no relationship is listed. As far as I know, Elizabeth isn't her mother's name but I could very well be wrong.

Thank you so much for all you do in downloading photos of headstones. I enjoyed reading your bio. How and when did you get the Morrison photos if you live in Kentucky? Best wishes to you and all of the volunteerss with the photos they take and the Memorial Page.
