|Janneane Veger||Eliza Roberts #67440811|
According to previous cemetery readings, Eliza's marker is the fallen white one in the foreground. It is either sunk too far in the ground or too heavy for me to turn it to find a name on it. The base of her stone is to the left of the blue-gray one. Does that clear things up?

I was going to but it is already there. I must have done it earlier because I think when you made the request for her, you asked about him and I went ahead and did it.

I saw the photo was already there when I typed in the number.

I was happy to take the picture... love a "field trip" to surrounding town's cemeteries. Glad to have helped.

You are welcome. It is a privilege to honor our forefathers by photographing their memorials. I will return in warmer weather and attempt to make the Beers' tombstones more presentable.

LOL - me too! He's my 10th great-grandfather. Funny enough, my dad's side descends from his son Matthew Fuller, and my mum from his other son, Samuel Fuller!
Take care cousin!

Hi Susan. Sorry it's taken so long to respond!!
You asked how I am related to Ezra Hall. He's my 5th great-granduncle. His parents, Capt. Jabez Hall (abt 1720-1776) and Hannah Lyon (1726-1807) are my 6th great-grandparents. I descend from their son, Gershom Hall (1743/4-1830).
How about you?

Somehow, I must have mixed up the number of the memorial in question. In any case, put your request or suggestion through on the memorial page "edit" tab and it will come to me with a link to the memorial. This is really the best way of requesting transfers, addiing info etc.
Happy New Year!

I'm always glad to see family or friends take over maintenance of lots of pages. It doesn't matter to me how recently or how long ago I added them--it's just good to know that people are looking for them and they haven't been forgotten. Of course, few have really been forgotten--it's just that many people haven't found Find A Grave yet.

I didn't know much about BUs either until just recently. They are Burial Unknowns, and are only supposed to be temporary. Many people add people's memorial pages from obituaries, and often there is no cemetery given. But the final disposition of the remains is supposed to be added within 30 days.
However, there are a growing number of people who seem to be adding their entire Family Trees, whether or not they know where people are buried. The worst instance I've seen so far is a person who had 3600 out of 6573 as Burial Unknown. What happens then is that when a family member or someone adding a cemetery enters one of his/her BUs, they then "move" it to the correct location (all that's really done is to Edit the Burial Location) and then tell the person who entered it in the correct place to delete their duplicate.

I do have the headstone photo for Edward Felsman, but it shows his wife Carol as still living. Sometimes people still living do not want the headstone photo posted. Are you sure this will be okay? I already got a nasty email a few years ago for posting a photo.
Sincerely, Ron Kinney

Ok, I looked. This Susanna(h) Randall Beers is 3 more generations back from my Susan Amanda Beers. There is another memorial for her, but mine predates that one and mine has a photo of the headstone and the other does not.

Actually, my ancestor is Susan AMANDA Beers, so I'm not sure if you are talking about a different person or what? I'm confused, but will try to investigate further.

Swan Point Cemetery has a no photography rule.
However, I have been granted permission to fulfill the find-a-grave requests. I need a 'letter' stating that a family member wants the photo. Please message me that you would like a photo -list the names and dates, also a group number if you know it. And that the purpose is personal - geneaology. I will print out the message for them to file. Sue
