RE: Athens Memory Garden
My Grandpa recently passed away and was buried there in May so just wondering when I will see the photo of his grave marker on here.

Also, do you know how or who writes the bios on this website?

Thanks,

Brianna

RE: Rose Secoy- Fulton
Secoy is her maiden name :) Thank you for the transfer. How do you get all these death certificates ? I have Rose's but not Williams. Every site I go to has a fee.

Rose Secoy- Fulton
It finally did allow me to enter the dates for her. You ask if I would like to have you transfer her memorial over to me - that would be awesome. Thank you :) The memorial # is 119894338 - her and my grandfather do not have a headstone - so may I please ask how you obtained records that they are buried there ? I have contacted the Township twice and they keep telling me they do not have a listing for Rose at Canaan. I found that a little odd because I am sure she is buried beside my grandfather. They died 4 weeks apart from each other. She passed first. Most of their children are also buried there.

I am trying to add dates for birth and death to my great-grandmothers memorial 119894338 and it is not allowing me to do so. I have a copy of her death certificate so I know the dates to be correct. Thank you

Mt. Calvary Cemetery
Thank you for all your work on Mt. Calvary Cemetery. I used to live across the street from it. One minor correction though. The stone listed as "Itnyugszek 'John' Kalapos" should be simply "John Kalapos". The phrase "It Nyugszik" (properly spelled "Itt") is Hungarian for "Here Lies" and not part of his name.

Gaston in Zion Cemetery
Are you related to the Gaston family of Athens Co., Ohio? Ephraim Gaston is my gg-grandfather (Zion Cemetery). I'd like to be able to add family members & make the connections on Find A Grave. I'd appreciate it a lot if you could transfer these folks to me. Also there are some Gastons in Graham Chapel that are descendants of Ephraim that could be transferred to me if you'd like. Thanks so much for putting them on Find A Grave; I haven't been researching this line in a while so finding these on Find A Grave has got me going again!!!

Thank you for your postings. I am related to David Watkins. He and Christopher were sons of Andrew. I have a hand written ledger started by Hattie Bell Watkins who was born to David Watkins and Sarah jane Mercer in 1866.
I have just started to expand beyond what was in the old ledger. My dad was born to Lester who was a grandson of David. Lester's family is in Illinois.

I just MUST ask if you are related to these folks whose memorials you created for the West State Street Cemetery in Athens, Ohio. The first names and the dates make it possible that they could be the parents of my great-great-grandmother. I know little else about them, other than that they left Elizabeth, Allegheny, OH prior to the 1840 census and that James had owned a grocery/tavern in Elizabeth. I know they had other children, beyond my grandmother, but not many details.

In regards to your message concerning Sarah & Samuel Varner: I believe I just requested a photo and Roanna Dolan Griffith was the one who created the memorial. The Varners are in my family tree, but I have no idea of their burial locations.
