Teresa--have transferred them to you. Just in case you don't know this---I have found the names Kasper and Cosper-interchanged in this area. I have not been able to put the families together but do believe they are one family that part changed the name for some reason. I am no longer on Ancestry.com so have not looked into it further. Maybe you can connect them.

RE: Kasper/Unruh family
To answer your question...yes. My grandfather Dave Kasper was the brother of your great great grandfather George Agnes Kasper, husband to Mary Marie Zacharias Kasper. Our common ancestor would be their father John Kasper. That makes us 2nd cousins 2 times removed. :) Orlene

Hi~

I only have a couple of Janz ladies in my line, and I don't think they're in my direct line either. They're not people that I'm actively researching at the moment. Yes, a lot of my dad's family is located around the Winton area.

My dad's side of the family is Mennonite, and there are Janz individuals in my line. I'm just not sure if that particular lady is related to me or not. I will go ahead and transfer her to you. Thanks, and take care!

Hi~

It's possible, but I don't know whether or not I am at this point in time. Are you asking because you'd like me to transfer the memorial to you? If you do, I would be more than happy to do so. Just let me know. Thanks, and take care! "-)

You might check out the website for the Miller County Historical Society - www.millercountymuseum.org

One item on display at the museum is the Lupardus log cabin. There is a photo on our home page. This cabin is also incorporated into the organization's logo.

Peggy Smith Hake wrote several articles on the Lupardus family:

Martha Gover is also mentioned in the article about the Livingston family (on this same page).

You wrote "Good afternoon,
Could you please add Leanders Janz (18526143) and Elizabeth Janz (18526147) as Sarah Martin's parents.

They are my 2x great grandparents.

Thank you

RE: Jesse Davis
Teresa, firstly my apologies for a typo on little Jesse's memorial. His death certificate does show the date of death of June, 1944. I had inadvertently typed a "9" instead of a "6" when transcribing. I hope this didn't cause any undue problems.

The date has now been corrected and I added information from little Jesse's death certificate. I searched both the Sweetwater and Abilene newspapers for anything regarding this accident, but have so far found nothing.

So with the correction as made, this surely appears to be your Jesse. Since he is unrelated to me, I'd be happy to transfer on request.

Blessings to you and yours.

Hi Teresa,
I transferred Elizabeth to you as well as Leander. I thought they should remain together.

One word of advice, when asking for transfers, always include your member number. I will look it up, but many just delete the request if it is not there. :=)

Regards,
Rita
