|Hernandez Family||Peter Nielsen|
I am not directly related to Peter Nielsen but I do know some of the family. On Ancestry.com there is nonam11 and walmoglines who both have Nielsen family trees but I should warn you I have found inconsistencies in what has been attached to these trees with the exception of what they've duplicated from me. My suggestion for your cousin is to start with what she knows and then go over what similar family trees have and then make sure it all matches, if something is different do not add it until she finds something to either prove or disprove the link. Too many times we are eager to make a match but later when more information becomes available we find that maybe certain records aren't a match. Good luck.
Regards, M. Hernandez

I'm not sure who is organizing the memorial in Modesto but I have already started putting together a "Celebration of Life" video for Don.
Have we met? I only know you as bpojito105.

I would be more than happy to have you add my photo of your Aunt Carolyn's grave marker to the memorial you created for her.
She was a dear friend and now is now reunited with her loving husband, Don.

|James Russell||Ina Rose Morris|
We always knew Edna as Aunt Brownie. Thanks for the info.
Regarding Ina, her middle name was Rose. I think the M on her gravestone simply stood for Morris. Since it is not on her death certificate, it must have come from Aunt Jean, Aunt Brownie, or Lee.
We have a photo of her, which I can upload with your ok. You will be amazed at how much she looks like her mother. Susan thought the photo was Ina Rose until I pointed out that it was taken in California.
I would love to know how you and Susan connect, but I am not going to ask you to post it on Find a Grave. I would love to hear from you in a more secure environment. My junk email goes to email@example.com. Send an email to that and I will respond with my real email.

Charles R Sheldon was born 31 Jan 1919 in White City KS. He changed his name to Lee R Sheldon in the 1930's. He married Helen Mildred Dawson 21 Sept 1941 in Ford, KS. He died 18 Jul 2000 in Casper WY, and buried at Memorial Gardens in Casper.
Lois M Sheldon (who went by Aunt Jean) was born 7 Jan 1917 in White City KS. She married Robert L Murray 1 Jan 1937, and died 29 Jul 2004 in Wichita KS.
Edna M Sheldon (Who went by Aunt Brownie) was born 11 Oct 1914 in White City. She married Emery Everett Anthony 25 Dec 1935. She died 16 Oct 1997 in Fairview OK and is buried there.
I am sure you have information for Ina Rose Morris Sheldon. We got the death certificate for DAR purposes and were surprised to find that she died of Spanish flu. Lee's father always blamed Lee's birth for her death, which is why the name change.
Right now, we are sorting out records. Lee's 2nd wife, Leola May Merrill Sheldon is in a nursing home. I had the photo in hand when I sent the message. We now need to find it again. Then I will upload.

Thanks for the burial info for Martha-I added it to her memorial. I'm only related through Martha's mother-Searer.
Checking at Ancestry, I found a death record for Orville. He died Jan 24, 1969 at Everett, Snohomish Co., Washington. From different census years, he was born about 1911 in Kansas.
In 1920 Orville was living in Harper, Oklahoma & in 1930 & 1940 he was living in Caldwell, Idaho.

|Robert Rhude||RE: Peggy Briner|
Yes, there was a Thomas Collings born in 1780 who had a son he named Thomas Franklin Collings and this one had a son named Thomas Collins (don't know for sure when the G in Collings was dropped), but the third one only lived five months. I don't know that they used Jr. and Sr. in those days.
Thomas Franklin was married three times: to Margaret "Peggy" Briner on 27 Jul 1820, to Susan McNeil Schumaker on 6 Jul 1862, and to Melvina Evaline Emms/Ames on 30 Jun 1874. If you have a printout of that documentation on Susan's marriage date, could you email it to me. Note that you say July 4 and I have July 6.
And they did have a daughter named Sarah, but her nickname was "Sadie" I believe. I don't have a birth or death date on Susan but her birth year appears to have been in 1842. And I'm sure she died before he married Melvina. And you'll note that Tom died pretty soon after his third marriage.
Things are well here and I'm looking forward to a good summer. Hope the same for you.

Larry R. Shroyer is my Dad. I am the third oldest of his 6 kids. Auntie spoke of many family members but I only know of the group in Or. and met them a few times as a small child. She did a lot geneology research and was in contact with someone in KS. I have some of her correspondence. Yes, it would be nice to have the headstone showing on his burial page.
