Thanks for the prayers for my Pumpkin, Cindy. He has IBD, an issue that's been going on for several years. I guess it works the same with animals as it does in humans - the meds eventually no longer work and he has to be put on different ones. The new meds seem to help a bit better, but he still vomits frequently.
Hope you will have home internet access soon. Libraries are so different nowadays. When I was much younger, you could hear a pin drop in them. If any noise was made, the librarian and assistants would be on the offender like a duck on a June bug in a heartbeat. There's just no respect for others in our world today.
Have a great remainder of the summer. Scritches to all the little fuzzfaces! Love and huggles, Suse

Hi Cindy, whatever happened to the good old days when the library was a place you were QUIET in? Hopefully you will be able to get the internet at home soon!
Tell the kitties they can not stay out at night! Too many scary things that could hurt them. Mom knows best on this and they'll just have to deal with it :-)
The weather's been nice here lately too. Can't believe summer is almost over. It's way too short!
Hang in there, Rosie

Thank you and may God bless you for the beautiful token/virtual flower you left on Sarah Benson's memorial!
I love the fact that you are not ashamed of the name of Jesus Christ. I look forward to the day when he comes back to set up his kingdom on Earth!
Also, thank you for all that you do on Find-A-Grave!
May He who was, and is, and is to come (Revelation 4:8), bless you and yours!

Hi Cindy, glad the problem with F A G got fixed & you were able to sign back in.
Thanks for praying for Lucy! She will be 17 in a few months and now has kidney disease. She isn't in any pain and is doing good for now. We are hoping to keep her with us for as long as possible.

|Rhonda C. Poynter/Gannon/Friends||My Mom|
Dear Friend, Thank You so much for visiting Mom - I just keep telling everyone that she would be/is overwhelmed at the outpouring of love and respect to her shown on this site, already. =) While I am not certain that I can picture a world without Jeannie in it, I also know that I can picture Heaven with her in it - and when she saw my dad and brother, she just dropped that rusty cage and ran...I will have to stay in better touch with visiting your pages once I am back online; it has not been a good year, to say the least - to think that I thought my ceiling caving in a few months ago (seriously) and an eye surgery were big deals. =( Take good care, and lots of love - RCP and Gannon Blue

|sniksnak||RE: Thank You for Sponsoring Baby Fu Fu & NAY NAY!|
You're so very welcome, dear Cindy. I'm most honored. Both of them are just adorable.
Yeah, that spam filter sometimes lays down on its job. I've had that happen several times just recently within my own email program. Once I found an email from Rosie in there, too. Funny thing is, she had sent two - one came into my inbox, the other hit my spam folder with no trigger words in the subject line. Go figure ...
I hope to get an email off to you in the next few days. This has been one crazy summer - ill critters, I came down with an upper respiratory infection, my mother's health has been up and down - well, you get the drift. LOL
Later, Kiddo. Loves ya and monster huggles, Suse

Thank you for your kind note Cindy. I'm getting ready to come back but not fully. I'm still sad about my Sheba who passed 8 weeks ago. And making dumb mistakes on here shows how my state of mind was.
Have a Great Day!

I noticed that you have 4 photos linked with Isom Hoskins. Who is the older woman sitting in the second photo? Do you have the photos in a digital format that you could share?
My 3rd great grandmother was his sister. (Levina)

|sniksnak||RE: SUSE HI!|
Think I'm just about over a nasty, nasty stomach virus that's plagued me for just over 2 weeks. Sorry for not getting back with you sooner.
It's been raining here for the past 2 days - more to come this afternoon. I'd just finished washing the house down Sunday evening about 3 hours before the rains came. Frustrating, but the house looks good. I'd never done it before - that was one job my Craig always insisted doing alone. Man, wadda an ordeal climbing up and down the ladder! I'm getting too old for that stuff!
I have counter dancers, too. They know that's a no-no, so the minute they hear me coming, you can hear little feet hitting the kitchen floor.
Hope this finds you well, dear Cindy. Have a great Hump Day!
Love and huggles, Suse

Hi Cindy, we do seem to have quite a few frogs (toads) around here. Moochie never bothered them, they have a bad taste!
I'm not crazy about yard work either. Too many mosquitoes! Hugs, Rosie

|Janine Hecht||You are my cousin!|
Hi Cindy, I am Daniel's youngest daughter Janine. You have no idea how long I have been searching to locate other "Hecht" family members. It would be great to connect with you to share some family history as well as pictures. I have some pics that I think you would love to see. :) Please contact me ASAP. I look forward to hearing back from you. Take care. Love, Janine

|Karen Hansen||RE: Heinrich Henry Burmeister|
Yes, my great-grandfather Henry Burmeister was a farmer and came from Germany in May 1881. He had served in the German army, so he did not come to escape the required military service. Likely, he came to find good farmland.
Yes, we call his son Hank. He and Anna are buried in Red Oak, Montgomery County, Iowa at the Evergreen Cemetery. We would have stopped there today if it had not been raining. I do have a photo that I will post after you change them to the correct cemetery (not Graceland in Avoca). You could transfer them to me, but they are great-aunt and uncle to both of us.
Leopold is the correct spelling for Abel's maiden name. Do you have Anna's obit? Email me at email@example.com. Bertram Burmeister just passed away in Florida. Karen

Thank you for sponsoring Edward Smith. He was a very brave man and deserves much admiration. I will be writing him a bio, and when I post, I'll let you know.
