Hi. I located the grave stone for Laura Burton and her daughter. On the stone it has her daughter as May instead of Mary. Hope this helps! Thank You

|Jim Laymon||RE: Laymon|
I've been looking for Jacob's grave for a long time, and haven't found it yet. He is my g-g-g-grandfather.
I know he lived and died in Lynchburg, OH. He might have lived on a farm just outside of town. I'm not sure. Most of his descendants are buried there in Troutwine Cemetery. But I have never seen his grave marker there. I wish I knew were he is.
There was an obituary in the 'Old School' Baptist Newspaper 'Signs of the Times' (no date) [Birth place was actually Virginia, not Tennessee.]
Blanchester, Clinton Co., OH:
"Died, at his residence in Lynchburg, Highland Co., Elder Jacob Laymon, almost 80 years of age. He departed this life on the 5th January last. Had he remained until April, he would have been 80 years old...."
Sorry I couldn't be of more help. If you have any other clues, let me know. Thanks!

Thank you, Beth --so generous. I wish I had your experience! Yes, it's like a never-ending crossword puzzle, but so very important. I'm in Texas. Have a wonderful day --Nancy

My sentiments exactly. Family can offer more; I wish more contributors, even though its hard work and they DO love to do it, transfers aren't always freely given to family. They're my family --I didn't have to know them personally to love them, add memories passed down and memorialize them.
Thank you so much.

Thank you so very much for your generous work and transfer. I only have time to do my family and am fairly new to genealogy, but not to my family history.
Please accept my sincere appreciation. Nancy (ALWAYS a Yankie!)

Beth, I added Mrs. Walters parents to her Memorial Page and thank you so much. Are you related to her? Buford is my mother's half-cousin and I met him in 1969. He was in the hospital then and died soon after we were there. If you would like for me to transfer her to you I will. I notice you have four Walters on your page, all buried in Ohio. Who are they related back to. Thanks again. Charlene Coe, Guadagnolo- Seal (#46894320)

Absolutely Beth. Feel free to use anything I post here. I'm glad the picture is of importance to you. Sidney was my great grandpa on Dad's side. Dad's mom was Ova Oglesby, Sidney and Katherine Winkler Oglesby's daughter. Sidney also had an Uncle named Sidney Barnes Oglesby and that causes confusion at times. Gr Grandpa Sidney had no middle name.
Message me if I can be of more help.
