RE: George Pitzer
Marilyn: This is written on his stone in the Upland Cemetery in Summers County. Are you sure you have the right George Pitzer?

RE: Robert A. McCauley Photo Request
Hi Marilyn!

A note to express our heartfelt gratitude along with a special thank you for taking time, to photo our nephew's grave marker! The photo is very much appreciated. We also wanted to compliment you on the excellent quality of your photo!

It's still difficult for us to believe it's been almost a year since he left this world ... he had such an amazing and out-going personality!

Would you permit us to use your photo on his memorial page so I can include it within the pages of our family tree album?

Again, please accept our heartfelt thanks for claiming and taking time to fulfill our request, Marilyn! You are a special angel! Keep up the great work!

Best Wishes Always,
~ Sharon, #47770935

Thanks for the photos. I feel that these are my relatives. They died in Fl. and then were interred in Crown Hill. Your help is truly appreciated. Thanks for adding Mabel, if you would like to transfer her to me, that would be fine.

Wonderful Photos!
Good Morning Marilyn,

Yes, I peeked in late last night, as you were posting the Memorials. :) I was blown away to see nearly the whole Henry Sparks family buried there!(William L Beitel is a nephew of Henry Sparks.) Maud Christian and Pearl Beitel, Sr. are both daughters of Henry and sisters of Howard. WOW!

Your Memorials and photos look GREAT!

Thanks for bringing the sunken stones to my attention--I'll drop you an email this week, and I'll get working on the SACS for you (no hurry!)

Your care, time and effort is much appreciated!

I see you claimed my request for the photo of William Montgomery in Crown Hill. Thanks so much for doing that. Please take your time and go when it is convienent for you. If you should see his wife Mabel's stone could you please take that too, if they are not together on one. Thanks again, I have been looking for this one for awhile. He is my great uncle.

Re: Extra People
Hello back again,
That's great you're photographing the family groups! Photo requests or not, this is your time and effort and your project, and you can choose how to handle any "extra family members" you've recorded.

On Find A Grave, every singular person buried has a Memorial created in his or her name. So a headstone with husband and wife will require two different Memorials to which you will upload your photos of their joint headstone.

It might be easiest for you to just create Memorials for each grave photo that does not already have a Memorial on Find A Grave. (*check the main Find A Grave search engine and the cemetery search engine to avoid creating duplicate Memorials.)

You'll then have the choice to transfer those "extra" family Memorials to the photo request folks or not. (See the Find A Grave guidelines for required transfers.) Or, you can message a list of the extra family names to each photo request and allow them to create the extra family Memorials--then upload your pics to those new Memorials.

If you don't transfer the extra family Memorials, you may receive SACS (suggest a correction messages) with additional information and family links to be added for some of those Memorials, which Find A Grave does require you fulfill.

*As we humans can't please everybody all the time...either way you choose, you may hit a snag with someone ...LOL!

You probably knew most of this, but I hope some of it helps answer your question.

Last but not least ...Have a great time out there! :) And, THANK YOU!

Hi Marilyn, Thanks for the message. It should be an interesting day if all those folks are located. I'm curious to know how it's all going to unfold once you get there ... hope you find everyone! Enjoy!

Crown Hill Cemetery
Hi Marilyn, Wonderful news, and thank you! Our family can relate to heat and health conditions! We're content to wait until you can get over there and safely enjoy the day! :)

There are a few other Sparks family members directly related to Howard Blane Sparks recorded in obits and death certificates for burial at "Crown Hill Cemetery", but only Howard's obit gave the location of Twinsburg.

There's a chance you may see a few other Sparks Family Members buried in the same are area as Howard Here are some names should you find them nearby:

Parents: Henry Sparks(1853-1934) and Anna Christina BARR Sparks(1859-1913). A brother Ross L Sparks(1893-1961). Also, a brother in law, William Leonard Beitel(1871-1944) and his wife Anna E STEUBER Beitel(1874-1940.) Thanks again!
