RE: Sarah Jane Cotham Goodman
Just following up about Jane Goodman. I do not have any documentation myself regarding Jane's maiden name, but the Family Search family tree shows her parents as being John Isaac Cotham and Elizabeth Sanders, and Jane's paternal grandparents as being Isaac Cotham (Find a Grave memorial 59037084) and Sallie DePriest. I hope you find the documentation to verify this!

I am embarrassed that I didn't remember Jane earlier. Her son William Edward Goodman married Minnie Lea Chessor, and I am related to Minnie. I set up Minnie and William Edward Goodman's memorials on Find a Grave. I also have an uncle through marriage who is a descendant of Jane's daughter, Susie Goodman.

RE: Sarah Jane Cotham Goodman
Hi Holly,

I tried to find this memorial to refresh my memory, but I am having trouble finding it. I tend to wander the online cemeteries just to see what I can discover, so I assume that's what I must have been doing when I left a flower on Sarah's memorial. I remember that a couple of years ago I was looking into the Goodman family after I discovered that an uncle by marriage was related to them, and it intrigued me because I realized I had another aunt related to the Goodmans by marriage. Unfortunately, I don't remember anything specifically about Sarah. Sorry I couldn't be of help!

RE: 100599605 Leroy Mulhearn
Holly- Thanks for the message. I found the mistake. The Chicago death records and his Obit show Leroy's date of death as March 1, but his SS Death Record has March 15. So I assume the SS Record is incorrect. I revised the Find-a-Grave record to March 1. Is that what you have?
Also, if you add Edward Mulhearn (#100599232)as the Father to Quinn Mulhearn in the Family Links of your memorial for Quinn, that will resolve the "half-sibling" issue that you mentioned. OK?
Regards - Bill

The photo of the two stones are unreadable, completely. I use it for all R/W soldiers only as a symbol. The disclaimer is printed on the photo.

I am going back to the cemetery tomorrow, I will check on the notation at the bottom. I do see the 1870 date but the rest is too hard to read. I also put a better picture of the Salton marker on Find-a-Grave. The sun was shining on it today.

RE: Gist Family
It is a small world. When I got home and got ready to post the photos on Find A Grave, I looked at my family tree and they were all there! I just hadn't gotten around to looking for GISTS. Maurice Gist, Sr. (brother to Almon and Prince) married my great grand aunt, Ella Mae Collins. I have decided that everyone in Jackson Co. is related! Have a great week.

The cemetery that Christopher and family is buried in is the St. Columba's Catholic Cemetery located in the Morrellville section of Johnstown (I created memorials for them). This cemetery has also been referred to as the Lower Yoder Cemetery and Morrellvile Burial Grounds which can confuse things.

RE: Fitzharris

I found your Charles & Ella (Fitzharris) Leahey. It is most likely that they do not have headstones, only for the fact that the cemetery they are in was surveyed and these two were not included.

I got their obituaries from the library this morning and posted them on the memorial that I created for them at this link:

It was a pleasure helping you and good luck in your family research. If I can ever be of assistance in the future, let me know.

After I posted that reply, I see that you had already made contact with the owner of Mary's headstone- super. Since her memorial is most likely the correct Mary Fitzharris, I deleted mine since it would be a duplicate. I attached the one I created for husband John to this Mary, as well as son Christopher. I also sent a message to the owner of Patrick's memorial to make the necessary updates. At least this is all starting to fall into place.

You may wish to contact the owner of that "FitMarre" memorial to see where she came up with that. If you go to that memorial and click on the name of the memorial owner it should take you to their profile page and their contact info.

As for the info on the "Morgue C" I really don't know. If she was recovered she would most likely be buried with the rest of the family but I don't see anything showing that in the published histories.
