Mrs. Col. Doak
Hi Susie,

I suspect she is Elizabeth, Mrs. Robert Doak also, PER MY BIO but haven't found any sources that support it. Have you? Also, there are two Elizabeth Doaks here and one is his wife, the other unknown.

Thanks for sharing

RE: Willson with 2-L's
You're welcome but I'm not sure I'm the one that made all the links, but I do make them when I can. You must be talking about Pine Valley in Lottsville. I'm sure Beverly Morris has done most of the work. I pretty much take pictures, and add people if they're not already listed. Have you checked her website? If you have any Willson questions you could contact her. Her name is on most of the Wilson/Willson.

RE: Willson with 2 L's
Hi Susie,
Thank you for the kind words. My Willsons come from Suffolk in the UK and I have them back for several generations. The first one to come to USA was Fred Ellis Willson in 1871. There were Willsons here long before that, in colonial times. I hope you find yours; let me know if I can help.

Susie, thank you for the DAR etc numbers. I have posted them on his memorial. Did you notice that I added quite a bit to his memorial, found his children and requested they be linked. Almost all children are linked now. Thanks again.

Thursey Louisa Donaldson
Hi cousin Susie! I saw that you were searching for Thursey Louisa's maiden name and suspected that it was Wilson. I took your theory and found an 1850 census report with a Thurzah L Willson (same birth year) in Pennsylvania. Mother is Mary Willson. No father named. Siblings- Harriett, James and Susanna. You may already have this, but wanted to share. She's my 3rd great-grandmother- which makes us cousins. - Charity Myatt Thompson

You're very welcome. Sorry that we couldn't find their graves for you, but as you said, it was a long time ago and very possible that they never had a headstone.

RE: Mechling Book
Susie, as fate would have it, I ended up in Pittsburgh this week for a funeral and I had time to visit the Carnegie library. I noticed the kittaning Cemetery book there and checked on Gladys Fulton. She is indeed my Kennedy aunt! I hope I haven't caused you any inconvenience, but I no longer need the book checked. I really appreciate your checking for me.

"Burials in the Kittanning Cemetery" book
Susie, I saw a reference to the book "Burials in the Kittanning Cemetery, Kittanning, Pennsylvania, 1811-1995", by AR & MK Mechling in your memorial for Infant Donaldson (d. 1931). If you happen to have the book, could you possibly look someone up for me? I'm very far from SW PA and would like to know what it says for Gladys L. Fulton (1903-1953). I'm wondering if she may be my great aunt, maiden name Kennedy. My next step was going to be calling libraries that have the book, but then I saw your comment in the baby's memorial. Thanks for reading and have a good weekend!

multiple messages
I did get multiple SACs from someone today--maybe it was you. Whenever it happens, I figure there was just a little glitch. But I have seen it mentioned in the Forums as happening more often than usual in recent days. If it persists, I suggest you go to the "Help With Find A Grave" Discussion Forum and ask for their input. Someone rattled off a fix that worked, but I didn't follow any of it...

New editing system
Find A Grave contacted several hundred contributors, as I understand it, who could then choose to be part of the testing of the new system. I asked to have it turned on ASAP, and the timing couldn't have been better. With summer coming, it will be good to save some time from taking care of SACs to spend doing fun, summer things.

Added by RobMinteer57 on Jun 03, 2013 4:55 PM

All the info for one person can be put in one SAC (Suggest a Correction)--and you will see now that much of the info can be entered directly with the new editing system. It then comes to me and all I have to do is click on "Accept"--the drop-down menus should save you some time entering dates and places.

I am so glad to have had the writings of my great-grandfather's cousin, Frank Dumm, so that I knew about many of the people who are buried in the Buffalo U P Cemetery, but whose graves are no longer marked--if they ever were.
