RE: Londrosh
I should have mentioned same state & county. The two cemeteries are about 12 miles apart so I thought they might be related.

Thanks Linda. I will check the cemetery listing and see if they have them as the same person, if so that will give the memorial dates. Thanks again, I always welcome additional helpful information.

RE: James and Ruth McSherry
Linda, they are related. Geo H and Nancy Augsta are James's parents. I will go ahead and get them all added and do a photo request so you will have a list too work from.

I saw the note that you could not find a grave for Francis (infant of James and Ruth McSherry). Wonder if maybe he might be buried with some of the other McSherry's? He died at birth, so I am not sure what might have happened to his remains. I will leave the request out there in case you happen to run across it.

Again, I so appreciate you!

RE: Roach gravestones
Linda,

I have put together an image that will give you an idea of where the older Roach graves are in the cemetery.

Map image is here:
http://www.junkosoft.com/roachgraves.jpg

This was interesting to me as well because the property around the cemetery is the Wieland family farm and I have heard that it was purchased from the Roach family around the turn of the century. The Roach's across the road were also good friends of my family.

Hope this is helpful.

Thank you for trying to fulfill the stone photo request; your time & efforts are greatly appreciated. Since the information came from the cemetery itself, the photo request will remain active for awhile yet. Have a blessed day!

Linda,

Thank you so much for all the Hoyne photographs. I am so pleased to be able to see their grave markers and to be able to verify many of their birth and death dates. It's been a pleasure to know that you share a family connection with us as well.

Smiles across the miles,

Brenda

Thanks it is very kind of you to add these pictures. I was unaware they were also there or else I would have created the memorials earlier.

You are right; I made an error. Name is John E. Leake instead of James and I have corrected my error. Memorial # 75718709.

You did it again...
...went out of your way to find and photograph a burial site (Virgil Laughary). I do thank you and want you to know I think you are a gem for going "above and beyond" for me. Thank you also for all the stone photos too. :)

RE: Photo request for Dieken, Tonjes J
Thanks Linda! I have not been able to locate his grave either, other than the death record and suggestion of a burial - perhaps the grave is unmarked. Hoped perhaps someone local would have access to further information on the cemetery plots. Was not sure if a possible burial plot could even be located.
Yes, I do have a copy of the 1880 census where he is living at the hospital.
No, I do not have a photo of the building. Would not mind a copy of the photo. Appreciate your looking into this, and your prompt response.
Think he went by several variations of the name in different records: Americanized himself to "John" but apparently his German name was Tonjes Jibben Dieken. Often becomes spelled Dickens also...
Thanks again, Wendy

Thank you so much for taking the time to fulfill this request. Anderson is a distant relative, but I am trying hard to track down all my relatives in Illinois.
