RE: your grandmother Malinda Shepherd
It's very short, Theresa, not even a story. From the Hazel Green Harold for 1 Oct 1908, these two lines.

"Miss Malinda Stidham of Robbins, in Breathitt county, is now living with the editor and his better seven-eights. She is a native of Wolfe county, and niece of Harve Stidham, a well known trader in the Cox Mill Neighborhood."

The editor has an odd way of talking. He means Malinda is staying with him and his wife. His name was Spencer Cooper.

The name of the newspaper dropped from my message. The paper was the Hazel Green Herald.

your grandmother Malinda Shepherd
I have a little story from the for 1908 I'd be glad to share with you. Would you like to have it?

I'm working on the STIDHAM, ROBINSON, DAY, GILLEY, and other lines in eastern KY, especially around Wolfe Co.

RE: Thomas Frazier
I added your info to Thomas Frazier's memorial. Thank you for your input. Censuses don't always tell the whole story.

This cemetery is also known as the Pete Gilly Cemetery or Irondale Cemetery on Baum Hallow Road. I tried to have Find a Grave update this info a few months ago but it has not happened yet. This is up the driveway to a family who owns a logging business on this property. They were very happy to let us look when we asked permission. This past April was the first we had visited this cemetery. My husband's gg grandfather, John W. Gilly, is in this cemetery. I do not recall the Mullins name but there were so many that had been broken/damaged beyond recognition. The owners of the property explained that a couple of years ago a large tree had fallen and damaged some of the stones. There also appeared to be many sunken stones and sunken graves which made it difficult to navigate as it also sits on a sloping hillside. The owners also told us that they believe several had just simple stones/rocks with initials carved into them. We live about 6 hours from there. We would love to go back and look again. Our goal is to go back again Spring of 2014, every 2 years. If I see some of these names you've mentioned I could photograph the headstones/carvings and create a memorial for them in this cemetery. Thank you for your input!
