|Derek and Kristina||Greenlawn Cemetery|
We were down in Portsmouth and finished photographing the last of the sections of the cemetery. After 5 years, we are finally done with t least the picture part. Hopefully we will have the remainder of the photos up by the fall. Because we were out that way, and had some time, we stopped by Friendship Cemetery and did the entire thing as well. Hope this finds you well. We'll keep posting.

|Derek and Kristina||RE: Arizona Griffith Duplicate|
I just transferred you ours. Honestly, once we upload a pic, we dump them into a mass folder with thousands of others and they are a pain to "refind". It's much easier for you to adopt our new record with the pic, and delete the old one that doesn't have a pic. :) Either way, we transferred you our memorial.
We have about 5000 pics on our pc to upload, and will hopefully get down there in late June to finish photographing the last 3 sections of the cemetery.

|Derek and Kristina||RE: Transfer(s) Thank you|
As we are adding photos to the entire cemetery we find maybe 1 of 15 or so photos where we gave to make a new record. I'm not surprised for the burials since 2009 or so, but it does surprised me when we have to add an old burial because I assume you added all the people from the two cemetery readings that were done by the genealogy society.
I have no urgent need to manage all of these, but they are assigned to me by default. I assume your team is appending the death certs from family search and the obits from the Portsmouth times (from the google news archive site).
I figured by transferring them to you guys you can do the other edits more easily.
I have a ton more I should probably transfer. I only need to truly maintain my 100 or so relatives.
I have 3000 named photos to add and a bunch of 7000 my wife is naming from our fall trip.
We hope to get down in the spring to finish the last 3 sections of photos.

|Nancy||RE: Harvey Allen Wise Updated Info|
YES, he is my great great grandfather! We are so thrilled to find him. We still need to locate his wife's grave, Eliza Havens Wise. Thank you so much for this information. If you have no family interest in him, I would like to take management. We are also still searching for his son in law Jonathon aka Johnson or Johnston Finney, my great grandfather, any information on him would be most greatly appreciated. We think he died in 1892 or 1893. He was married to Mary Ann Wise, we already have her information.
Thank you so much, this is a great addition to our family research.

|Albert Starnes||Jason J. Starnes # 93695653|
I am looking for my great uncle JAMES J. Starnes who died in 1936 and is buried in Greenlawn cemetery along with his wife Grace Cook Starnes.
In looking at this entry for Jason J. Starnes Memorial #93695653 I believe that this is really James Starnes and not JASON Starnes.
Is there anyway that you could provide a picture of the headstone?
I would appreciate any help that you could provide.

Thank you SO MUCH for all the work you are doing. I know it is really time consuming and an act of love. I just found a woman in my family; married in 1847, died in 1851; now I know about her thanks to you. I have found more of my Watkins family there, also, thanks to you.

It won't let me click on edit and add their father or mother to them because I didn't add them to find a grave.

I would like the graves of Henry and Mary Sleight transfered to me. They are my great-great-great grandparents.

I'm glad you located it in Greenup County, Ky.
I never thought to look it up. Sometimes, as old as the death notice is, the places that are named no longer exist. Even West Virginia itself at one time was all of Virginia.

I have found a list of the soldiers wounded or killed in the 30th Reg't O.V.I. in the late Civil War battles in Maryland. From the Portsmouth Times dated Oct. 4, 1862. How can it be used? Would you be willing to collect the names and do something with this? I can send you the list if someone knows how to find the people.

You are another "Angel Friend". the wonderful thing is that these items that are so useful to me have only been added in the last 2 months for the most part. Again, thank you for the work you are doing.

THank you so much for all that you are doing! In the last week, your site, this particular cemetery has helped me put together at least 3 new generations for one Williamson family. These aren't the only things, but one of them Hiram Williamson, has been a major breakthrough in a brick wall that has been around for 2 or 3 generations.
Thank you so much for all that you do!
